I believe he worked on the upstream (drilling/exploration/production) side. IIRC, he worked Odessa/Midland, which is primarily known for fracking and land rigs.
A couple of thoughts here:
-it's possible that TS wanted to prevent or delay a possible private autopsy;
-it's possible that TS wanted to have some input as to who was invited to a memorial service being planned (for example, the influencer friends with whom he clearly did not have a good...
Not that I have seen. Seems like there is conflicting info out there. Friends say yes, mom says no, husband seems to have said both yes and no, at differing times, to different people.
In any event, it sure looks like their marriage was a bit mercurial.
I would think that could be either a catalyst for the push for divorce; or perhaps a side-effect of the emotional turmoil brought on by the stresses of a divorce.
Again, considering all possibilities here. I think those of us who have followed enough of these cases know better than to rule out...
Even if it's merely a 4-digit passcode, it could take months, due to the security measures put in place by both Apple and Google/Android. After "X" number of attempts, the device is locked for a certain period of time. When one considers all the various combinations/permutations of 4-digit...
Is it possible that the husband "wouldn't do anything" due to lack of financial resources? If he's in oil & gas, it's possible he's out of work and, hence, likely low on funds.
The change of NOK from spouse to parents could have been made as a matter of procedure after the initial NOK failed to make arrangements for transportation, etc. within a given time frame (IIRC it's 10 days here in TX).
There is a legal process in TX for such a change.
If you look at some of the video footage in the news reports, you can see them searching on a gravel road. SaltFlat does eventually go from paved/blacktop to gravel, several miles outside of town.
If you look at the Street View in the vicinity of this dropped pin -- near the intersection of...
I've been leaning towards some sort of substance-related COD -- possibly drugs, possibly some other toxic substance(s). The lingering question in my mind is more centered around the murder/accident/self-inflicted* discussion.
*least likely of the 3, IMO
The "feeder" is the I-10 frontage/service road. It's a one-way.
Redhaw -- where the victim was discovered -- is simply a one-lane (read: "very narrow") street which tees into the I-10 feeder/service/frontage.
RSBM
I think there's some confusion about which street is being discussed. @labradoodlelover posted that the feeder road is one way -- in fact, it is. ("Feeder" is the local parlance for "frontage" or "service" road, for those of you who are not local to Houston.)
Redhaw, on the other hand, is...
There are lots of dark areas within, say, a quarter of a mile of the discovery spot -- the Addicks Reservoir, for instance. It's possible that they went there for...whatever...and then things went awry. And, in a panic, she was dumped on Redhaw, which is a cut-thru street from the Addicks back...
It is indeed miles (around 3, IIRC).
The feeder (think "service road", if you're not in TX) is one way.
Redhaw -- the street where she was found -- does not appear to officially be designated as a one-way, but it is certainly narrow -- to the extent of only one car at a time being able to...
