Found Deceased MI - Brendan Santo 18, visitor, Michigan State University campus, East Lansing, 29 Oct 2021

I asked my son for his opinion and he says the paths along the river are like a paved sidewalk. That's also what I remember. The bridges that cross the river are substantial and have a sturdy railing. Of course a person could make their way down to the river if they really wanted to, but...

I'm also in RH and have been following this case closely. My son just graduated from MSU last December and I know the campus quite well. It would be difficult to accidentally end up in the river.

Identified! Mystery couple murdered in South Carolina, 1976 - #7 Pam Buckley & James P Freund

If they have German/Austrian DNA it might be difficult to find relatives since doing home-based DNA testing is/was not available in Germany, last I checked though it appears that Germany is now on the list of countries that Ancestry sells kits too. I have asked on the Ancestry message boards...

Identified! NV - Wellington, WhtMale 574UMNV, 35-50, Off Sand Canyon Road, Mar'92 - #2 - Vincent Marion Trapp

Yes, I saw that. I was just wondering if we could email the person at the State of Nevada who handles these things or in any way help move this case along?

Identified! NV - Wellington, WhtMale 574UMNV, 35-50, Off Sand Canyon Road, Mar'92 - #2 - Vincent Marion Trapp

I've been lurking on this case for years and just checked to see if he was on the list at DNA Doe Project. I was dismayed to see that he was not. Apparently they will only look into a case if it comes to them, not vice-versa, so what can we do to get him on the list? I don't think funding would...

    OH OH - Brian Shaffer, 27, Columbus, 1 April 2006 - #2

Which door did the band exit through? Perhaps he was talking to some of them and then just slipped out behind them? I just have to wonder since this case got quite a bit of publicity, that if he stayed behind and socialized with either the staff or band that when this became a publicized case...

    OH OH - Brian Shaffer, 27, Columbus, 1 April 2006 - #2

It's interesting that he wasn't spotted on surveillance video from other businesses along N. High Street, according to police, though I haven't heard the number of cameras they actually inspected. Back in 2006 I don't know how common it was for cameras to be on every storefront, building, in the...

    OH OH - Brian Shaffer, 27, Columbus, 1 April 2006 - #2

My thought is that if he left with the band there would be many witnesses but I suppose if he just stayed late talking to one of them, and everyone was leaving through the back door, he could have just followed them out. Perhaps the band meets a lot of people in bars and don't specifically...

    OH OH - Brian Shaffer, 27, Columbus, 1 April 2006 - #2

I've been following this case since almost the beginning and compared to all the cases that I follow, I have the least amount of theories for this one. It's just so perplexing. In my mind the possibilities are (just thinking out loud) 1) he left voluntarily 2) he was taken out of the bar...

I had always thought BG = Bad Guy. I guess that works too.

At my husband's business, most staff is salaried but regardless, they would always tell their supervisor and sign out at the front desk. All salaried staff have their own set 'core hours' and if they adjust outside of that, this is fine, but it's expected that they don't just take off without...

I'm so confused. I read on the FB page yesterday that the family wasn't interested in a large -scale search and that the police wanted them to keep spreading her info via social media and just getting the word out. That made me think that perhaps they thought she had 1) been trafficked and that...

I don't think sleeping over at a friends house is unusual at all at that age. My 20-something daughter and her friends do it all the time. They are always crashing on each others couches, especially if they've had a few drinks. Since D needed her car in the morning, it makes sense that she...

I'm glad they did that, but I hardly consider searching the grounds of her complex to be a large-scale search by an army of volunteers, like we've seen in other missing person cases on this board. The Heather Elvis case in Myrtle Beach comes to mind. Seems like they had volunteers out many, many...

I'm very perplexed with the lack of organized searches for Danielle. In other missing person's cases I know there are large-scale searches often involving hundreds of volunteers. Why aren't we searching fields and wooded areas in Southfield, Farmington and nearby areas? Do they need a specific...

I think she had a burner phone but I can't remember where I read that.

I have a hard time believing that someone would drive her car back to her apartment and park right in front of the building.

I can't seem to find any info about her being spotted on security cameras anywhere on her way home from work. Has anyone heard anything about that? By now, I would expect the police to already have that information.

Thank you Holocene. If you ever need search volunteers, please let me know and I'll be there.
