The hair color/style in that photo on "Keri Drexel's" page look pretty similar to this photo of Brittanee taken probably months before MB. So while that may be a new photo to us, I'm pretty sure that it's (relatively) old.

The shorts story really doesn't check out, and it hasn't from the beginning. If JO wanted her shorts back, then why didn't she come get them? And it also seems like there's no "short"age of shorts amongst the girls, since in a lot of photos from MB everyone has a pair on... why be so angry and...

Perhaps the boyfriend texted JO or AL asking where Britt was, have you talked to her, she isn't responding to me, etc. You are right, though. I wonder if the friend was someone from Rochester or someone they met in MB.

Actually, I think what bothered the girls was that Brittanee didn't respond to the text from her boyfriend a minute later (9:16 pm) when she had been having an ongoing conversation w/ him. Though, it is also possible that something about the text was just 'off'... like the way it was said...

What an idiot for writing that letter, and thank God the justice system is going to take care of his life. That is one of the most disturbing letters I have ever read, second only to the letter Trudy Darby's killer wrote. :mad: I only wish he could suffer the way he made Stacie suffer.

Who else was in the MB area from Rochester (that Britt knew)? I thought it was just BD, JO, AL & the boys (PB, AS, etc). Perhaps the girls had some kind of "code" if they were in danger. If not, what in "going to another friends hotel" would arouse suspicion?

What do you mean? Did she actually specify a hotel or a place where she was headed? Who could it have been? I wonder if whoever she was headed to see was someone who had previously harmed Britt or made threats. :confused:

I think that the sex trafficking theory holds a lot of water. But how would PB have sold BD into sex trafficking when all the evidence points to BD just walking away from PB and then disappearing? In most sex trafficking cases, the victim is not grabbed off the street (that's too conspicuous)...

Yes, I inferred that the Sgt. was talking about PB or one of the other males & his "intimate" involvement w/ Brittanee as well. But who knows? Anything we say will just be speculation... I wish LE would release some more info.

Wow. This is a very fascinating and disturbing murder. :( In response to the letter - I think that when he (the writer) described himself, he meant the opposite, in a (intentionally?) juvenile attempt to throw off investigators. Like "fat and beautiful" - what man would describe themselves as...

Thanks for the article, Lindsay. It really sounds like LE knows something that they don't want to disclose to the public, for whatever reason. Maybe DD wasn't so off with asserting that there might be a 'possible break' after all.
