I could only see suicide with an assistant, someone to remove the weapon (whatever it was), move the Durango, scatter the belongings. But who of that age group could do such a thing and not ever discuss it? Leaving the body out there alone all that time? I just don't think that's what happened...
This could also be a time of greater than normal stress for a person. This stress could hasten a decision to commit suicide, walk away, self medicate, etc.
Not saying if that is what happened, or blaming Alan in any way, but add additional stress on top of normal stress - and different people...
There would have had to be something to point to a crime of a Grand Jury to loo k into it. Nothing has been turned up to indicate such despite the fact one of the podcasts revealed the investigation was a lot deeper than many thought.
That is your opinion. But I haven't heard any facts that his bias was anything but against the occupation of the victims (which is bad enough).
Whether he killed them because they were Asian or because they worked in an industry he couldn't deal with (because of his own screwed up mind) he...
Same link as above, an inactive Instagram account. Nothing mentioned about a Facebook page.
Robert Aaron Long: What we know about the suspect in Atlanta spa shootings - CNN
I have been following the story.
Everything that has came out (except the original specification) has focused on this guy's sexual issues and addiction, not the race (or nationality) of the women.
He has been treated for sexual addiction. No evidence of hatred/bias against Koreans (or any other...
No, I never said that. Regardless of his motives, the victims did not deserve to die. But he didn't kill them because of their race or nationality.
For all we know, he may have wanted more and the victims refused.
No, the victims were not all one race. The majority were Koarean. Not all were.
And the race angle has now taken off the table. It seems the victims were targeted by their occupation, not their nationality.
I have to say this about sound tests - the way sound travels can vary greatly depending on many factors. I think you would need to repeat the experiment several times under different conditions.
At times we could hear normal conversations from the house across the valley from us. Other times you...
I have heard Korean as well but her eis the latest I've found.
Cherokee county:
Two Asian-American women
One white man
One white woman.
Atlanta:
Four Asian-American women
It didn't take the local news long to backtrack on their story. I'm sorry but assigning bias to a shooter before any facts are known is poor reporting. They didn't just say it was possible, but found people and groups to interview and speculate on anti-Asian motives.
Sheriff: No indication of...
I am so far disappointed in the messages coming forward about this tragedy.
Without any evidence, the local news is trying to portray this as an anti-Asian crime. Could it be? Yes. But there is nothing yet to support this.
And then there's the chorus of voices about why he wasn't beaten or shot...
Yes, this house is at J and N 37th. But I think the news mentioned "near Grand Ave" just because Grand is a major road so people had a landmark to go by.
I believe 1006 N 37th Street is now and has been a vacant lot.
News reports put the fire in the 1100 block of N 37th. I think it's more likely to be 1123, especially compared to the picture above of the house fire.
If this is the correct property, it would appear Mr. Parker was a renter and not...
Yes, I think that's what they meant.
Not that the phone stopped working or was turned off, but that any interaction with the phone ended.
Someone asking the person who made the statement exactly what they meant by "digital trail" would help.
Alan is not legally dead. That makes the POA valid. Simply being missing does not invalidate the POA.
I have a POA for an elderly relative who is now mentally incapable. I've never had to submit proof she is alive to use the POA when dealing with a third party on her behalf.
The difference in this case is the POA already existed. And, while missing, Alan is still legally considered alive.
Guardianship, I believe, comes into play only when no POA exists for the missing person.
To anyone other than the person doing it, suicide never makes sense.
Sadly, a day can start normally then some trigger just happens and the person sees no other way out.
