Search warrants IMO specify specific locations and evidence sought. Just asking if we can look around supposes the property owner agrees. Not agreeing is a bad sign. Evidence found either way could be introduced into court.

Don't agree with the first part since she was also taking care of the dogs and needed to be taken care of before she left. The second part however crossed my mind.

LE would be able to tell from phonc carrier records when the phone stopped communicating to the network tower (that it was likely in line of sight)> It was on at 10:00 PM because of the SC. Normally she would have left it on using it as an alarm for the morning, would be unusual to turn it off...

IMO maybe the thought is it's local and they didn't want any evidence planted to throw off the investigation.

The text by MT brother would have had to been early since in a post upthread she needed to be at the camp very early (6:30?). Don't think this is her. CS was lured to NYC by this low-life. According to posts up thread she went there by a veiled promise of a better life, but fell into a hellish life including phyiscal abuse. But she failed to follow up on a restraining order and family lost contact after that last post...
