100%. The first PC after she was safe where they patted themselves on the back over and over drove me nuts. They worked their asses off but came up with nothing. She saved herself.
None of which were a ford taurus or similar. They stated their certainty about the red challenger numerous times, but were unsure on the SUV. No mention of an older dark red Taurus, ever.

No you don't. You can't pick and choose what is on the other end. Sometimes it is too late to be the hero. My aunt is one and she has undergone therapy for some pretty traumatizing things. Including her own child's suicide.

Not sure that is how it's done in WI. Most are done by the count Sherrif's office with DNA collection kits. But some instances require alternative methods:

I have seem them compiled into one case before. I have a relative that went on a mass robbery spree over time when he was still using. He had charges from Wood and Clark counties but the case was handled by one county.
