When reporting on the March inquest hearing, 7NEWS Sydney showed a different version of the two parked cars: different vehicles, different location, and they're seen from a different part of FFC's mother's property:

The cars...
That's a possibility, yes. If the Spiderman "roaring-photo" was at 09:37 and there's another photo at 09:57, maybe William's families or the police wanted to keep the later one private.
@deugirtni
Hypothetically, maybe other people did see the two parked cars but their police statements were so comprehensive that Counsel Assisting didn't have reason to question them at the inquest. Maybe Mr Craddock was asking about the cars for reasons other than to find out if they were...
Thanks!
I've seen several articles saying the Spiderman photo was taken at 09:37, but here's one that gives two times:
"The last photo of William was taken at 9.57am."
And:
"William's foster mother made cups of tea before snapping the now iconic photo of the three-year-old boy sitting on the...
This article by Caroline Overington talks about the inquest, and describes what happened at FFC's mother's house on 12 Sep 2014 in the hours before William went missing. The sequence of events seems easier to understand than it is in other MSM reports, in my opinion; I think it's probably shown...
The driver stopped at the road block might have heard the truck driver's story via the local station (the Morning Show runs across several states). If the truck driver didn't call police himself, and if the radio station didn't pass on his details, it's possible (possible, though unlikely) that...
This might not be the link you were looking for, but it's got a truck driver talking about a woman in a Camry:
"Desperate search for missing boy," Ray Hadley Morning Show, 16 September 2014
The truck driver's call starts at 06:05. Before that it's Ray (the radio presenter) interviewing...
@frogwell : At the inquest when FFC was talking about her drive, was she on the stand being questioned by Counsel Assisting, or do you mean the court was shown the walk-through video?
From what you remember, did anyone talk about the truck? Which way was it going? when? why? etc. Thanks!
The MSM version of the triple-0 call is now longer than it was before. I don't know when it was updated or why.
Here's my transcript of the new section, including the questions before and after to show where it fits:
Simone (S), the triple-0 operator: What's William's surname?
Female foster...
A riding school is shown on a map tendered to the inquest - the map which shows the lists of searchers and where they went, so presumably it was used on the third day of the inquest when the search coordinator and SES unit controller were appearing.
The riding school is in the lower-right...
Thank you. (And thank you for all your inquest notes - they're much better than the reports by MSM.)
I wonder how CR called FFC back to the house. It probably doesn't make much difference. But if it was by phone, FFC could have been out driving.
That seems so weird to me I just want to check whether it might not be correct? I can't imagine calling the police and then not going to see them straight away when they arrive.
FFC means "female foster carer" - it's what we're now supposed to call William's foster mum. Following the inquest hearing in March, the rules about naming people have changed, so the rules for this thread have changed too.
I also would like to know why the coroner has released the statements. I thought it might be a strategy to unsettle POIs, but in the Daily Mail article (down near the end, in the timeline) there's this:
"April 30: William Tyrrell's foster grandmother's police statement is released following an...
Re the box-window man: Maybe he had an uneasy feeling his neighbours were taking note of his sleep/wake cycle and thinking him odd because it didn't correspond with theirs. That might make someone turn inward or want to barricade a window.
The Daily Mail Australia article that @sosocurious...
Thank you, that's good information. It sounds like the searchers would have been organised or monitored, not running wherever whenever, so that's good.
