Oh yes, I totally agree on a rational level. Just the parent in me sees my own children in that situation and longs to save her. If it was misadventure then RD will surely have a lot of what ifs and guilt, even if there’s no blame on her at all. FWIW, I totally agree that the Fail is vile...

Poor Gaia, if only someone had found her in time.

Given that her cousin is talking about justice I don’t think she believes it was accidental. How often is paradoxical undressing seen in hypothermia? I can’t find a figure on a quick google. Because without ascribing the clothes removal to that then naked young woman found with clothes dumped...

Yes, that was incredible - although helped by the murderers being complete tools. Watching police documentaries, it always surprises me how much concrete evidence they need to have in order to be allowed to charge. I think it’s probably a good thing but it’s always more than I expect. Still...

RSBM If they aren’t innocent then this would definitely be the effect the murderer was going for. Hopefully the post mortem forensics will show up with some clarity how her last hours panned out.

As would be an epileptic episode I imagine (thinking about Diane Stewart from the Helen Bailey case).

Very sad news. RIP Gaia. I do think that the Police wouldn’t have mentioned murder without some evidence though. I suppose the next few days may shed some light.

GUILTY Uk - Emile Cilliers Accused Of Tampering W/ Wife's Parachute, Wiltshire, 5 April 2015

Gosh, what a long deliberation. Those jurors must be seeing parachutes in their sleep.

I think the police know what’s gone on but are searching for the smoking gun. Hopefully everyone they arrested was willing to talk and they got some stories to check out. Did anyone watch The Detectives: Murder on the Streets? I’m thinking of Candido and the moment they pulled up the carpet and...

I don’t know if I’m glad that GE has been advised to put a sock in it or not! The man has been digging some excellent holes for his son.

Kayleigh Haywood fits the bill I think?

The car in the potato footage is a Vauxhall Corsa, I’m pretty sure. It sounds like the paper got it straight from the dashcam owner so no idea if the police think it’s significant.

I’m hopping about for a verdict too. I hope the bizarre blatancy of his actions won’t have paid off in making the case too far fetched...

Argh, what we wouldn’t do to be flies on the wall in CID! I’m sure there’s lots of juicy stuff being guarded very closely. PE sounds very dodgy, he’s very keen to hand over all his evidence that it wasn’t him. Leaving his phone behind is bizarre, no-one does that, I’m sure the phone is full of...

GUILTY Uk - Emile Cilliers Accused Of Tampering W/ Wife's Parachute, Wiltshire, 5 April 2015

I agree it’s a bit bizarre. The stuntman death was in doing a totally different discipline, she’s undermined her own point with that one!

I think he must have been asked to demonstrate something with the mole grips. I love the summary of the summing up. That barrister is enjoying himself.

Interesting that he’s not challenging that someone sabotaged the parachute!
