I am not sure that they know that at all. There is nothing really to suggest that Hailey was ever alive at that point. IMO she wasn't.

To be honest IF she was hidden immediately after whatever happened it doesn't mean shes there now. She could quite easily have been moved later that night or early the next day.

Why on earth would they advise against a reconstruction? Regarding the polys the McCanns apparently wanted to make too many conditions that weren't possible .
