With regards to the paragraph in the opening thread that a custodial parent is subject to criminal prosecution and a non-custodial parent is not is not correct - especially in the State of Ohio.
A non-custodial parent who fails to support his child or children is subject to a charge of felony...
A person who would do something to a potential victim's car in a parking lot so they might later try and approach them would probably have to first spend time learning whose car it was (so they would choose the vehicle of a woman alone as opposed to a group of people riding together, etc.). As...
From all that I have studied on this case, I feel what happened was not really planned, but rather an accident and then a resulting cover-up by the person(s) responsible.
Seems like Jeffrey Dolinich has skated along free for over 45 years. Is he still living? If so, he would now be in his early 70's.
Kind of hard to believe that Barbara would have left her purse behind. The fact that it was found still in the vehicle and had a broken strap (from a tussle...
Numerous leads have been followed up on this case in the years since Beverly failed to return home in 1951. A theory has been voiced that her remains may still be there on Linnet Avenue.
I was aware of Georageann Hawkins being one of Bundy's victims, but did not realize there was some question about her remains. It is understood that Bundy placed several of the Washington victims in one location. How sad for her family that questions still remain after all of these years.
With regards to Sherri being seen by a clerk in the department store, was this at the store where she was supposed to make a payment for her mother? If so, was that payment made that day and at what time? If confirmed, that should indicate Sherri's whereabouts at a given place and time. Also...
I've always found it interesting that while Patsy advised she last saw Beverly at the park as she (Patsy) was leaving. However, a witness advised they saw Patsy and Beverly in a not-so-friendly discussion later on at the street corner near the park.
After watching this case on "Disappeared" today, my immediate thoughts are to keep the heat on Denise (Williams) Winchester and Brian Winchester. I'm surprised that they still remain in Leon County. It seems the most dangerous animals in Florida are not alligators or poisonous snakes, but...
I would like to hear more about this with some specifics. In all respect, it's difficult to believe that in 1969, authorities could not remove and prosecute a group of individuals like this in a national (federal) park - particularly since it appears to threaten the comfort and safety of visitors.
If someone did spend that last night with Jodi, I assume he has never come forward because he knows he would become a prime suspect in her disappearance. However if he actually was not involved and really cared for Jodi, you tend to think he might come forward especially after 20 years. I...

I just watched a re-run of the 20/20 story today on cable. In that program, it was mentioned that when Jodi first felt she had been followed, she took some self-defense courses at a local business. Just wondering if law enforcement ever questioned the people who worked there or were there at...
Please understand, I feel the the person responsible was someone Beverly knew well. I don't believe an abduction or physical harm was planned, but what was going to be a short exchange between that person and Beverly quickly wound up turning deadly.
Comments and theories on this case are always good to see. A person (or in this case a young girl) may be leery of those they do not know, but that unfortunately does not prevent them from being abducted by someone jumping out of a vehicle, hiding behind an object or being overpowered by...
In the book, "Twilight of Innocence", it is indicated that Beverly had been given permission by her parents to stay until the end of the show at Halloran Park which made it after sunset. Although there was a large crowd at the park, certainly not all of them were strangers to her. It was not a...
Unfortunate that there was not more news coverage given to this case. Sometimes that is what helps get attention to it and with that comes possible information that may solve it. I tend to think had this disappearance taken place in other parts of the country, there would have been more coverage.
