I don't watch TV news so pardon the odd question. Are members of her family pleading for the public to watch for or look for her? If not, maybe they know something dreadful about this case.

One plausible reason for not texting Mom might be that she wanted to surprise Mom with a visit. Not very likely at this point, but plausible.

It wouldn't be hard to toss a cell phone into the back of a pickup with out of state plates at a gas station along I-25. Truck stop? Stash a phone on a semi trailer somewhere? If the vehicle were heading towards WA state it would ping along the way and run out of battery at some point.

Regarding the fiance lawyering up, that's the prudent thing to do in today's society when your SO disappears. I'm reminded of a recent case here in Colorado, Natalie Bollinger. The BF she lived with was under intense scrutiny. He retained a lawyer, probably at the advice of a trusted family...

I'm going to muse a bit here. As a flight instructor for folks who will become "tomorrow's warfighters" she would have come into contact with numerous young men and women in the course of her duties. I sure hope there's been a thorough screening of those contacts. I don't know a LOT about...

Maybe she didn't take her phone with her because it was so low on charge. I can see her thinking "Oh, selling this item (gun?) will only take a few minutes and I need to leave my phone on the charger because I need it later today." JM came home, looked at the texts/messages, and didn't plug...

Do we actually have a primary source that has identified SS as a POI? The only info I've seen is a MSM report that stated Boulder PD stated that Broomfield PD stated that SS was a POI in the case.

Would you care to share where in MN you live for comparison?

I can picture several scenarios where the perp would have had access to NB's car.

As inappropriate as I think it is, too, I would probably do the same thing if social media and websites such as this whipped up a storm of netizens into a nasty, aggressive frenzy against me. There's clearly a lot more to the story of their friendship and the RO than we've heard, and posting...

How long does it typically take for DNA evidence to be processed and returned to the local LE?

I don't think he did it. 1. He's not in custody despite being interviewed more than once. 2. Cops evidently told him not to talk about the NB case. 3. I believe that if he did it he'd want to be caught and prosecuted, which would fulfill his wish to be martyred over all this. 4. I...

I would assume that people who move victims of ODs don't typically shoot their friend or family member, too.

...or a sign that the obit writer objected to the father's past (and maybe not so distant past) abuse of the deceased.

I could picture several scenarios where NB's vehicle could have been available to the perp.

This particular address is about 5 blocks north of NB's address listed on the RO documents.

I really don't know if this type of post is acceptable here or not, but NB indicated that a close male family member was way too 'friendly' with her (and her sister?). Any chance her NA steps triggered this one to eliminate the problem? She was also evidently involved romantically with 1...

Does the NA program include apologizing to people you've wronged in the past and/or confronting those who have wronged you? Just wondering if such a confrontation might have triggered a problematic person from the past...
