Please don’t think that I was questioning what you posted, I was questioning what you were told. I believe that it is probably a good example of someone on the periphery of an investigation exaggerating their role. Even if the FBI did interview the potential applicant I don’t see...

IMO the above part of the story doesn’t pass the smell test and enters the urban legend realm. Why would the FBI be doing pre-employment screenings for a landscape company that does some work in CB? Does the owner of the landscape company call up the FBI and say “I have another applicant...

Welcome, and great first post! The only issue that I have with your theory is how did the killer setup the meeting with MC without leaving the usual evidence? There had to be evidence that they connected at a website, text, email, or phone and I expect that LE has traced all of recent...

I don’t put a lot of faith in the ability of tracking dogs. For a great example of why look at the Sarah Rodgers thread. On December 13, 2009 Sarah’s car was found crashed on the northbound median on I-95 in Maine. Multiple times tracking dogs followed her trail to the...

To me what is important is what normal behavior is for her and the other students? Does the school actually have a strict policy for different ways of signing out? Are there “15 minute break”, “30 minute lunch”, and “gone for the day” categories that all students adhere to or is it just...

The problem that I have with this theory is that her car was reported as being out of place very quickly. If the neighbors called in a suspicious car quickly don’t you think they would have called in parties with alcohol and bonfires?

Was the spec house furnished and ready for people to actually stay there?

Agreed, there are certainly pieces missing. We know for certain that she was at the hair academy, boat ramp, CB, and her car was found in PC. What is the connection? Was she alive at CB? Did she drive her car to PC? Hopefully LE has a better handle on the events/locations.

Especially since there seems to be so many leaks. Imagine the prosecution saying that the defendant knew details about the crime that had never been released so they had information that only the killer had known. The defense points out that half of Chelan County seems to have multiple...

I think that it gets a lot simpler if LE can collectively decide where she was murdered.

Do you think that it changes if the actual murder took place in Chelan County, or Wenatchee, and that CB was just a dump site?

TOD & place of death have me thinking. Assuming that this horrible death doesn’t get solved soon, and the task force is disbanded at some point, what department do you think gets jurisdiction? Chelan County, Douglas County, or Wenatchee PD?

Thanks. Your information is very interesting. I am sure that it has been strange for your son & his friends.

I know that you said that you don’t know if they had met in person, but do you have any idea of the extent of their relationship and how long they had been interacting?

That is very interesting. Do you know the exact time period that his alibi was verified for? Only on the day, or all the way through Saturday? It would be interesting to know if LE has determined that the murder and disposal happened on the afternoon/evening that MC disappeared.

I like it when the original information is published rather than the news outlet trying to make it seem like they actually have reporters digging for information. IMO it is much more factual.

Welcome Ginnii345! I don’t want to be harsh, but IMO there have been multiple “facts” posted on this board that have contradicted themselves. I don’t think that it is a fact unless you can provide a link, witnessed the interview, or have access to the LE documents from the interview.
