My opinion is that he will get life imprisonment, not DP. JMHO
The cards are stacked: strange family history, severe injury to the head, abnormal brain scan, irresponsibly prescribed drugs, bizarre behaviour documented, etc.
During the first part of the trial, the judge would not let jurors hear Hilton's comment about" being selective" about who he picked because it implied multiple victims.
Was this statement admissable today?
I think it speaks volumes. How was he able to be "selective" if he was unable to...
It's hard to imagine that if Hilton has been this unbalanced since early childhood that nothing prior to taking ritalin in 2007 triggered him. If ritalin is that bad it needs to be recalled. The benefits don't outweigh the risks.
Hilton looked more sane when he was arrested in GA than he looks now. IMO
BTW, Why wasn't a blood test done back then to determine which drugs were in his system. That could be valuable information for either the defense or the prosecution. Sounds like it should be standard procedure for a...
Mitigating Factors:

Aggravating Factors:

Just some general info:
Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure
3.780. Sentencing Hearing for Capital Cases

It seemed insignificant to me. All I can remember is that it was a short clip and you could see the dog (I assume Dandy) walking ahead of him as he scanned the area with his camera. I have no clue what the jurors were looking for but maybe it was the date.
Edit: I just pulled the clip up...
Thanks Climbergirl, that makes sense! And, if you don't mind me asking, why do you think the jury wanted to see that clip again before reaching a verdict?
Did anyone notice how Hilton was saying "Totally Tucker, Totally Tucker" at the beginning of one of his home movies? What did that mean? Was he referring to himself as Totally Tucker like a nickname?
Mustang Sally - I'm glad to hear that you were not directly involved in the drama of the online chat yesterday. Thanks for clearing that up. Everyone still needs to be cautious about what they say in case there is a retrial, etc. JMHO
Portman's Report from today:
jmportman: The attorneys will meet back here at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow to finish up legal issues. about 2 hours ago
jmportman: Hankinson would like to wrap up testimony on Friday and send the issue to the jury, but defense may need the rest of the week for...
Good point NNY.
But IF that poster was legit, they need to put a lid on it asap. There is no need for grandstanding now. Just wait your turn and you'll be heard soon enough.
Count 1- Guilty of Premeditated Murder
Count 2 - Guilty of Kidnapping w/Proof of Intent to do Bodily Harm
Count 3 - Not Guilty of Grand Theft Auto
Count 4 - Guilty of Grand Theft
Guilty on all counts except for grand theft auto. And from what I read/watched of the trial, there wasn't...
Found these two posts on an obscure website. Hopefully these people told LE their stories.
