I agree! I think it's time they released more for the public to consider. Someone may recall something based on that. It may also help us to help them more.

I believe a problem here is that those concepts of rigor mortis etc are based on room temp...and the garage was likely freezing. Therefore normal concepts of rigor/livor mortis likely wouldn't apply. I've often wondered/posted about PK's description of the eyes. The eyes go through various...

If she was a hoarder, as has been suggested (by "suzie" ?...saw a post on that a few pages ago I think), then maybe she hoarded money at home too.

Did any LE member or force ever suggest a middle-aged person? I'm interested, because while young is probably the more common scenario, I'm also thinking middle-aged is quite a possibility.

True! To cast suspicion elsewhere, but also less gruesome. I would think "making it look like an accident" might be a more common route to go for trying to disguise murder and motive. Why do a brutal murder that's bound to leave some sort of trace evidence? You might plan it expecting you'll...

I thought that was just $50,000 worth off assets besides the house, but not including bank accounts. My father is a former teacher in this region, and has calculated her total in pensions (teachers, old age, etc) would have been $50,000-60,000 / year based on her years teaching.

But if the cases are not related I can see someone in the heat of the moment picking up a screwdriver, or other sharp object in AG's garage and going nuts. I could probably find 10 things in an instant in my garage that could be used to stab. And there would still be blood all over. As an...

Did we ever learn if the killer brought the knife, or if the knife was just grabbed at the scene (ie: a weapon of opportunity that happened to be there) ? Or even if it was a knife? I thought I read "stabbed", which could be done with a number of things. Knowing that would help us a lot.

Yeah, I just don't get why she'd leave/put in that part about the child(ren). The more I ponder it, the more it seems really strange after all. In the case of a kit, I can't see her leaving it in there because she thought it might be important. The lingo is clear enough, and imo if she had no...

Funny, At first I thought you were talking about the PDB :floorlaugh: I guess the Mono composite also reminds me a little of Newman's salad dressing picture :) I've wondered whether the 2-toned ski jacket was actually a motorcycle jacket. (Don't know if there was snow up there then or not...

This is interesting about chop shops and possible motive: "'The guy running the chop shop will go to one of those auto auctions and pick up say, a Chevy Silverado that's been badly damaged or something and he'll get it real cheap,' Ricker said. 'Then he'll put out the word that he needs a Chevy...

An opportune time for a killer who knows someone will either be left alone, or not receiving visitors.

Interesting. They say this one is Hamilton's 4th homicide of 2011. In the related stories below is a link to AG's case, which was the 11th homicide in 2010. So either the murder rate is way down this year...or a lot happen over the holiday season.

It could be like "traveller's cheque - itus". Like, when you sign a bunch of TC's and your signature transforms during the process. Also, a lot of folks have lost their writing skills with the advance of technology. Every time I go to write these days, including my signature, I have a hard time.

When I think young for this crime, I'm thinking late teens to early 30s. (I think there were some studies mentioned somewhere along the way that gave a general age range for this kind of violent crime. Maybe it was on Lee Melnor's blog site.) I'm guessing such aggression is usually more common...

I agree, and think he's probably screwed up a few times, and has let someone glimpse a very unexpected dark side. A bit of ruthlessness, cruelty, disrespect for certain type of person (women, elderly, etc). He may be visibly obsessive in some way too, but about something that many people have an...

He's been wanted for a long time, and by a lot of people. Now everyone has extra reason to squeeze the daylights out of him :)
