my apologies, I meant this case not this site.
and apologies to admin, as I know this is also not the right way to complain, however if ppl are 100% certain of BREs guilt you need to ask what their motivation is to keep posting.
to derail the thread for legit users...
Seriously, I try to apply some common sense and objectivity to some unsubstantiated claims and I get PMs calling me a tool.
If if you really 100% think that the police have their man then why continue to comment on this site at all.
The purpose of this site is to try and solve horrible...
Can a subject matter expert please explain exactly what "familial DNA" is and how exactly it can be related back to a potential perp?
does it mean;
mum, dad, brother or sister, or
uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces or nephews, or even
second cousins and second aunties and uncles
or does it...
This is a newspaper report that starts with "it is understood..." As I said earlier poetic license, not fact as in 100% conclusive. The police reported a familial link which as you would know is not 100% conclusive. And it will struggle to stand the rigours of our court process, IMO
Dont...
Agreed, and we should stick to the facts as we know them reported by the police, not newspaper do lie or take poetic license. No 100% match to BRE that is fact. Nothing reported, leaked or officially about any victims DNA being found in any property or car of BRE, fact.
not rumour nor...
I
Agreed, but how many sleuths can conclusively state exactly where they were 20+ years ago. I have been trying to think of where I was and can only really come up with Valentine's Day 96. It would have to be a special event...imo
If he had an alibi for each time it would be more suspect...
"to the car" which car, BREs old Telstra car? But if the police matched the fibres conclusively to BREs car why not state that or did the fibres NOT match and they are still Looking for the car used? Just imo
as I stated earlier nothing conclusively has been reported stating BREs DNA or old car...
Thanks for the link, as I suspected it was a little older for Aussie based crimes, 30 for males.
And that is for those who have been caught, which is what I was sort of getting at, older and wiser people would have a better chance of getting away with their crime, IMO.
http://www.aic.gov.au/publications/current%20series/tandi/341-360/tandi346.html
this site is Australian based and does have an age range of 25-40 but average is 30. Should of just googled it before my post, sorry.
IMO, this may also be slightly skewed as this only has ages of those caught and...
What are people's thought on the age of BRE at the time of the murders, is it consistent with other serial killers?
the Bernies appear a lot older than 27.
Still waiting to see/hear what, if anything, that the police have as hard evidence. Would hate to think that they jumped the gun with an arrest and charge with the hope of finding hard evidence that may or may not of been found so far. There has been nothing more from the police since the...
Having travelled on country roads I have seen and smelt a lot of road kill, and you can smell a decomposing kangaroo for a long way off. It would be a big risk to leave a body so close to the road. Mind you I am unfamiliar with that area so it may be isolated but still, why take the risk IMO...
Some valid points, yes.
If he stalked the Claremont area looking for an easy target, why be lazy in the disposal? Serial killers are generally intelligent if not highly intelligent so why, is all I am asking.
why drive an hour or so from the abduction site to only dump a body 200m from the...
You are correct, no true evidence to prove this...but less evidence to suggest he owned the Mazda/Datsun during the time frame.
i base this on the fact that the police have stated they have only familial DNA evidence thus far. If they had hard evidence you would expect them to state that by...
