GUILTY NJ - Brendan Creato, 3, found dead in Cooper River Park, 13 Oct 2015

Well I don't know this family & Don't know who is responsible for the child's death but I disagree with your statement. My son was once lost at a town fair and I panicked, and was confused as what to do. I don't think 9pm is late to drop off a child to his parent/s nor do I find it...

GUILTY NJ - Brendan Creato, 3, found dead in Cooper River Park, 13 Oct 2015

I live about 1&1/2 miles from where this happened & I'm familiar with the area. It would have been very dark outside between 9pm-6am. I have a 3 yr old grandson who is very smart & very agile. I'm sure he would not be able to navigate 1/2 a mile in the dark even if the area was close to home.

As to the lights, a small flasher can be placed on the dashboard and quickly turned off, also I've seen bright lights that plug into cig lighter that are sometimes handheld out the window. I've seen those used when driving on rural dirt roads in the pine forests. Anyway there are many good...

Herring Ave. near JAMES St.. Does anyone know how far from James St. the car was found? I also think they were observed & followed from the store. If he overheard the directions he may have left just before them. He may have pulled over, lights out until they passed then used an emergency...

Thinking about the victims shoes & lower pants being muddy & wet. Maybe he did take them somewhere secluded with a pond or creek nearby & planned to kill them in the water but heard someone or something that caused him to change plans. Taking them back to the car and moving from the original...

I'm trying to understand your second paragraph. Do you think they drove onto someone's property where they witnessed something that led to their murder? Why is the simple answer that the killer lives south of where he left the car? Why would the road or driveway be dirt or gravel? We don't...

I understand the need to keep some clues " secret" for,the benefit of the investigation . I was under the impression that some evidence was not released to the public, but after this much time LE seems to need all the help they can get. Many criminals aren't very smart , the very intelligent...

JMO: someone comfortable being out late at night(darkness), familiar & comfortable with handguns(experienced), someone conifdent that they can move freely in this area(local or works locally), someone that has killed before ( former military, LE, or sociopath). Also why does he have to be a...

Yes, The Vidocq Society meets one Thursday a month in Philadelphia, PA. The case must be submitted by a family member or ith investigating LE authority involved. They must be invited by the law authority that has jurisdiction over the case to proceed.

I also feel the that the crime began at the store/gas station. They were being watched & their plans & conversation may have been overheard. IMO they were unfortunately in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe Mrs. Merrit & her daughter were also being observed by someone. There are restless...

JMO, I think the killer never drove JB's car but took the keys away from her when he 1st made contact. He may have taken them to another location in his vehicle then returned to Herring ave. where the car was parked. if he drove the Mazda there would be much more evidence left behind. He may...

Did they get wet & muddy while trying to escape at a public pond or stream or on private property? I'm sure this evidence was analyzed but not much info has been released. If the perpetrator had a dog, I would think some dog hair might have been found. I no longer have a dog but always find...

Maybe the killer wanted the crime to be discovered quickly for the thrill it would generate if they did live locally. If there wasn't dirt inside the cabin of the car then they may have been taken away in the killers car & later returned to JB's car which may have been parked near the original...

Maybe that was part of the killers MO. They wanted the crime to be discovered quickly for the thrill, or possibly a message of some kind. I believe the intersecting road was James St..

I still feel that the truck that was parked at thee gas pumps/store may be a clue. Yes LE said they found the owner & cleared him but early in the investigation it was a very important clue, then suddenly dropped. Does anyone know what type of firearm was used? I also believe the killer posed...
