  1. Bit of hope

I would be great if the files could be changed! Thank you @Satch and @Cirriii57 for all the work. I'm not sure if Meghan from Charley P. is willing to adjust the info coming from us. I tried in the past for another file, but it never changed. I'm afraid she will use only info from the sources...

Some families seem to have a continuing series of setbacks. Audrey's son died at a very young age in 1990. James L. Backeberg (1958-1990) - Find a Grave... Very sad.

I'm from the Netherlands and a smoker. You bring me back to 1995 :) I was in my early 30's then, my father had just died and I was pregnant (non-smoking intermezzo). I agree with you that smoking rolling tobacco was mostly done by people who were low on money, not necessarily young and it's...

I wonder if something is known about the garbage bags. I've seen this blue bags used in cleaning carts, big (public) trash cans and catering industry. Probably nothing of interest as they would have published it. Same with the sheet she was wrapped in.

I found a picture of the scar on her elbow. No idea what could have caused that. Onbekende vrouw Uilenstede nu cold case | Amstelveen Blog The woman probably smoked a lot, given the heavy nicotine stains on her right hand. Are they positive this are nicotine stains? My smoking friend has...

I'm wondering about the shoes. Never heard about DAG. There is a very clear horse logo on there that I associate with the Mustang brand, but maybe it's slightly different or it's a rip-off. Example of a shoe with the Mustang logo.

Maybe he was working for a Bob's Big Boy. Marriott Corperation bought Big Boy in 1967 and sold it in 1987. While searching on history stuff, someone remembers one on Upper Market Street between Church and Sanchez Streets. Big Boy Restaurants - Wikipedia (sorry, there isn't a website that...

I don't know what your perception is of 'much' money. It costs about 7500 dollars (correct me if I'm wrong, Othram f.i. asks for funding) Put that in the perspective of all the unidentified bodies in Los Angeles (and there are shiploads) and you have some insight. I don't know what LE's budget...
