“'I was able to find areas that were undisturbed to the tune of me being able to find things, and the person that was with me being able to find things, that certainly should have been handed over to the police,' he said.
Mr Cassar could not confirm what those items were so as to not interfere...
Absolutely agree, I never actually turn mine on or off either, just stick it on charge when needed.
I think, if the perpetrator also had an Apple Watch they would know how to turn it off, but if they were unfamiliar with smart watches they probably would take some time to figure it out….might...
Could you provide a link indicating that family/friends searched “the other side of Buninyong?” I haven’t heard this confirmed by any official sources.
I would imagine they did search close to home.
I believe it was a neighboring property. It definitely caught my attention too, BUT……I’m pretty sure it would be against the rules to sleuth neighbors though.
Especially after what happened in the William Tyrell investigation.
After watching ‘Under Investigation,’ I felt both the tech data guy and the former detective were pretty much in agreement that more than one person were involved in the likely removal of SM from the targeted Mt Clear area.
The forensic psychologist seemed to be leaning more towards a very...
With regard to the speculation about it taking SM longer than expected to run 7km, it is also possible that SM ran that 7km at her usual pace and remained in the one spot for some time before her phone was last detected pinging there.
With regard to police asking for footage of damaged...
I have trouble believing SM’s husband or immediate family are involved in her disappearance in any way.
Apparently the convicted sex offender mentioned earlier (with an alibi) has only been interviewed in recent days by police so, ostensibly, they are not focusing only on the husband and...
The Daily Mail appear to have had MM in their sights from early on in my opinion, they are also responsible for publishing the photo of MM laughing with the police officer. Maybe they know more than they can let on and are just pushing the absolute limits with what they can legally publish...
Yes agree. My Apple Watch detects if I’m walking outdoors, running, working out etc and all of this is logged on an app……and probably also stored on some sort of cloud.
“Locals have been urged to keep a lookout for damaged cars in the area.”
“I encourage anyone who does have information that could be relevant to this investigation – whether that’s a person or vehicle seen in the area on that day, something unusual such as a damaged vehicle or property – to...
“There is also nothing to indicate that Samantha left the area (mount clear search area) of her own accord."
What do people make of this statement?
My guess is that this is where and when her devices were switched off, but I am interested to hear other ideas...
Hypothetically, if SM has been targeted by someone/s she knows, I am guessing they must have been very familiar with her running routes and routine to plan an attack/abduction. Presumably that would not be a huge pool of suspects.
:rolleyes:Daily Mail clickbait headline:
BREAKING NEWSSamantha Murphy's husband declared a 'person of interest' in investigation as police reveal they're now looking for her body
They go on to say ALL people in Samantha’s life are persons of interest...
Mark Hatt says police are speaking to everyone in Samantha Murphy's life as part of the investigation into her disappearance, including family, friends and work colleagues and everyone.
Also he did not deny that the Smash repair business would form part of the investigation….in fact he said it...
“Ms Murphy's mysterious disappearance during an early morning run on February 4 has generated hundreds of leads, with officers now honing in on known violent offenders living close to her home in Ballarat in regional Victoria”...
