    GUILTY UK - Helen Bailey, 51, Royston, 11 April 2016 #1

I don't think he is a gambler, Michelle. I think he is a coercive controller. A self-surviver in a manic sense where he sees everything from his own view towards ambition, perfect place to 'create' a family home, his best light in society when he knows he didn't already achieve that. A...

It was additionally interesting that he said 'WE'VE got a cottage down there' - and yet not a thought that Boris would have a collar with ID, microchipped - and Helen is devoted to him so this may be a way of leading to Helen... either through a Vet, if Boris needed any treatment, or if Boris...

From Helen's book, I understood her relationship with John's daughter was particularly close and although she perhaps saw less of his son, she writes warmly and appreciatively of them.

It seems crazy that he answered a telephone call during a 'desperate' plea for help to the Emergency Services. I don't feel he sounds at all a deep thinking person unlike Helen. And I agree, Milly, that he doesn't sound an obvious match to Helen - but 'matching' crosses all boundaries when the...

That's a brilliant story by Helen, Alyce ... well spotted.

I wonder if IS thought Helen restricted his choices in spending money. Of course, she would wish to know 'the money is there' - when she is the one responsible for funding everything. I think this is a very telling part of the interview on many levels.

Yes, thank you Alyce - and thank you everyone for insightful posts. IS has certainly further illuminated his character today.

IS says - "It's a fairly relaxed lifestyle at the moment." And then continues within the same interview, to list all the agitations regarding the conservatory, upstairs decorations to suggest a point of trigger in Helen's anxiety. I understand how worrying health within her family would be but...

That is particularly interesting in that Zopiclone 'can cause coma'. It takes me back to think of Helen's lack of definite physical injury - and, according to Pathologists suggested suffocation or sleeper-lock (?) - and when I wondered if he had dragged her to the garage/cesspit whilst...

Wow!! that is interesting news. Did the Surgery have this condition on record? Did they refer to it when prescribing him with Zopiclone? Did he ever take Zopiclone himself? There is no proof, I believe, that he did use this drug .. only his word that it helped him to sleep.

I don't know if this is true journal reporting. Read it on the On-line Daily Mail. But in one of the interviews with Detectives on Friday (15th April) - there was a note taken, where IS said 'Helen was worried he didn't want to marry her'. This jumped out as a possible Freudian slip whilst IS...

Apart from his different story to Doctors' Surgery and to Helens' conveyance Solicitor on reasons for delay or IS acting for Helen ... I wonder if he used 'unwell' as a Freudian slip .. because she was more unwell as a result of his action plan than he anticipated that day. We all know now that...

I am leaning towards him NOT planning the day of 11th April - but events overtook him in some way. And I go back to my thought of Helen being 'unconscious' with drugs and he jumped into action, after his designed plan. I do believe he planned for her to die - perhaps by accident, as others have...

Did IS know that John Bailey shared POA? Perhaps he did believe he could make quicker access to Helen's money in her absence - missing/deceased. I wonder what happened in December 2015 when he supposedly first gave Helen drugs.

Some points that I was reminded of today. Margaret Holson had a missed FaceTime call from Helen -I think it was the 22nd April (sorry I am not highly technical to highlight sources but from the Cambridge News today -summarising the trial to date). Can't imagine what IS was playing at then...

Thank you Alyce - I read a previous note on BBC that Mrs Bailey wasn't well and now this has been corrected.

Helen's Mother is not well enough to attend today - and I believe the Court is adjourned - and continue tomorrow. Poor thing no wonder she doesn't feel able. (Now realise this has been removed from BBC - and that it is Ian Stewart unwell)
