Post-Verdict: I am sick and heartbroken

I predict that George Anthony will move out and divorce Cindy, and that the the family will divide into two factions. Lee will be supportive of George and will probably disown his mother and Casey. IMO, it's the only way that Lee and George can have any kind of normal life going forward.

Aren't JB's 4 hours up yet? It feels like it's been longer than that.

Peru - Stephany Flores, 21, murdered in Lima hotel room, 30 May 2010 #20

You know, a lot of the things her father and brother said immediately after her body was found have turned out to be true. In the beginning, some reporters were saying there was hardly any blood - which contradicted what her family was saying.

I agree that it looks broken, but I am assuming that happened during the murder.

I agree that she seemed to walk strange, but then it was 5 in the morning, and may be she was tired. I don't think she had a club foot - I thought I remember reading that she did sports.

Your theory makes a lot of sense. He obviously didn't know about the camera, and he was going to pretend to find her body when he came back with the coffee. That's why he was desperate for a "witness" to him finding the body. It make more sense than him fleeing the country and then trying to...

Wow - that video of him with the coffee is something else! If I had any doubt before about whether or not the coffee trip was a ruse - I don't doubt it any more. He has the second shirt on - the one he was wearing when he left the hotel for good, and the whole bit with him looking to see if...

I use Google Chrome as my browser and when you open a page in a foreign language something pops up asking if you want to translate it, and it gives you a drop-down list of languages to translate it into. It's cool. Even the comments people write are translated.

Peru - Stephany Flores, 21, murdered in Lima hotel room, 30 May 2010 #4

no offense taken. According to Mark F, the ME did theorize that she may have been based against the wooden bed frame, and said that he thought her injuries were more severe than from just falling. It could also be true that some type of wooden weapon, like a bat, was also used - but Mark...

One thing I did get from the Dateline show was a better translation/understanding of what her father supposed had said about Stephany sacrificing herself to bring Joran to justice. It sounded to me that he was taking comfort in his faith, and that he believed that God took her for a reason...

On the Dateline show, they did say that her $5,000 winnings was missing. But they also described Joran as being suspected of two "brutal" homicides - when there is no evidence that Natalee was brutally murdered. A lot of the reporting at the time theorized she may have died of an OD.

from CNN.com: Investigators also found a baseball bat in the room, two law enforcement sources -- who said it was the murder weapon -- told HLN's "Nancy Grace." link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/04/peru.murder.case/index.html?hpt=T3

What's sad is that if the baseball bat story is not really true - it's already making it's way around the Internet. The latest story on CNN.com mentions the bat and quotes Nancy's show.

I personally do not have enough information to say that the FBI dropped the ball here. It just seems like Greta and her crew are trying to gin up controversy by stating that the FBI screwed up.

Mark Furman did not mention a bat, but he did not say that there wasn't one. He said that she had blunt force trauma to her head which the ME said was more severe than what would have happened from just falling and hitting her head on the wooden bed frame.
