Texas Equusearch began a search operation this morning around the area of Pike Road and Oswalt Road.
The terrain is simply not like that in the area. It has been dry, but the ground is hard packed. Weeds, perhaps, but not sand/dirt. It actually brings to mind a recently discovered body in Oklahoma City. A man was found not far from his house. He had walked into a wooded area and shot himself...
"Elderly" is generally just anyone over 60. The word carries a different connotation, which, based on what little information is available about the couple at this time, doesn't seem to apply to them. But they are over 60.
It was good to see the small profile that Fox 25 News did on the case a few nights ago. Hopefully it'll bring some extra attention to the case. I don't know where things would be without the persistence of these families.
And just a little observation from the story they did -- clips of CN...
I don't think it's major, but I think there is a growing gang presence in Ardmore, much like in Lawton. However, the drugs in that area are not at all limited to confines of the circles that gang members run in. And I'm 100% sure this case will somehow come back to drugs.

Could it possibly be a matter of when the information was entered? No idea what the process is behind the scenes there, but I know from watching situations with my next door neighbor (a regular offender) the dates on here are not always 100% spot on.
Been quiet, but watching. It's good to see all the movement and interest in this case. While it seems to get more complicated by the day, I think (and really really hope) that there is a resolution coming soon.
I think in Oklahoma the law is that at least one party must know they are being recorded. So, I can't record persons A and B talking, but I can record a conversation between myself and persons A or B. I think. I'll try to find something to back this up.

Not sure if it's been discussed yet (just popping back in), but a new article is in the Oklahoman -- "Jamison family was threatened by relative before vanishing, records show"
The entire article isn't available online as far as I can tell. Here's the link to the PDF of the protective order...
I don't know how much importance to place on the fact that the phone number was listed as being from Bristow. My cell number comes up as being from a town 120 miles from where I live
Something that's been weighing on my mind is the amount of crazy weather we have had since the disappearance. There was a massive Christmas Eve blizzard one year, a few major thunderstorms with heavy rain, etc. I don't know much about human remains and how likely they are to be moved by the...
