There have been convictions in some cold cases in the last couple weeks that were much more older cases than Britts so Im hopeful something will come to light soon. I wonder whatever happened with what they found during that Georgetown excavation they did last March.
You are likely correct and in 2009, this was even less likely to be something that worried this family. Theyd been getting away with this sort of behavior.
I think her attempted escape escalated her death. I agree that it unfortunately was inevitable.
What I cannot get over is whether she was local or not, her disappearance was going to get attention. Heather Elvis disappeared from Myrtle Beach in 2013. Different circumstances, but this...
Some things that have gone through my head recently: did they sit at home and just decide they would drive up to MB to abduct a girl that night? Britt would have been vulnerable since she was petite and more than likely texting on her phone as she walked back. The other thing I think about is...
Is it the Wal Mart further down 17? Not the Wando Crossing Wal Mart? I drove through McClellanville yesterday. I had to pull off on a side road to fix the straps on my sons car seat and my heart was hammering. 17 is fine but those side roads are rural and knowing what happened to Britt, I...
Yes, today is the 9 year anniversary since our Britt was taken. Pray that another year does not go by without resolution. I live in Charleston, SC. McVl is just down the road and I drive through it regularly. I think of her every time I go through there.
Chad, her father, has created a website a website for her: justiceforbrittanee.com. Check it out. He has been very active on social media lately. Again, I think this is going to break soon.
I think this will be resolved soon. After listening to Chad's interview the other day you can tell there is momentum and renewed energy. Hang on, Britt. We won't give up.
Personally, I just do not think she got into a car with the kind of people we are thinking are responsible for this. I can see them pulling her off the street near one of those parking garages. I think there would have been less people walking down by them.
Pretty plausible theory, IMO. The T's are rumored to dabble pretty heavily in the drug scene. McVl to Myrtle is not a long drive. I'm sure they drove up planning to snatch a young girl off the street. I've never personally believed Britt got into a car full of strangers. Especially...
So true. I had to drive through McVl today. As I always do, I thought about Britt. I really hope someone came forward with information that is not yet public.
