Ironically they both did. They both -in differing manners -sealed their own fate.. She by telling the truth (IMO) and he by rampantly lying. It is nice to see the system when it works

He can appeal for his next two lifetimes. He's toast And he put himself in the toaster. Game over.

Thank God for the families they were. That is the most agonizing time, the wait for verdict.

Hallelujah!!!! I knew if I took some time to do work this would happen. Thank God and we saw this coming. Good job Prosecution. Poor Carls and rest of the family but at least it was over fast, the trial, the verdict. Much better than dragging out for years. Big sigh of relief here

I've got to say before leaving, the duct taping of an alleged "corpses" head in order to ward off grasshoppers... has to go down in law book history as one of the most ludicrous of stories ever concocted and told by a murderer.
