I recall reading it in the comments, but I think the search box only searches within the text of the blog posts, and not in the comments, so I can't find it!
Seems they discovered the trail on Day 22, and she can see the trail from the back door on man-on-porch Day 24.
Then, I think at some point after Morgan's death, they see the trail in the google earth image (still searching for the link to that one)...
:floorlaugh:
Thank you, confusion. This is such a sad thing that happened, and many things about it make me want to tear my hair out, but it's great to enjoy a moment of levity now and then. This gave me a big ole belly laugh...
Toni said that the male ran through the planter, knocking the motion detector out of the tree, setting off the alarm. So I guess the motion sensors had alarms? I'm not familiar with exterior motion sensors with alarms, will have to research...maybe some kind of chime or something?
We're discussing the blog - it's the basis of this whole thread, so I assume it's ok to quote the blog as long as we also provide a link to the page the quote is taken from. Mods, please correct me if I'm wrong. I would think paraphrasing would be a dangerous way to spread inaccurate info on...
From the same blog entry:
"For the longest time I stood at the back sliding glass door, and stared at the backyard, it was still very dark outside and I could just make out the trail over the berm."
I mean, we have a perp who uses night vision goggles and hides on rooftops and avoids detection and all of a sudden he's dumb enough to walk right up to a glass front door on a well lit porch in the early hours of the morning and is unlucky enough that Toni is right there to see it (which she...
From the link:
"My intuition is taking over, and I feel like someone is out there, I never sit at the end of the couch and drink coffee. Its as if just maybe if I sit still enough, and open up to all the sounds and movements in the dark then something will come to me, so that is what I do I...
I thought the guy in the wildlife cam pic was wearing a backwards cap. Oh wait, no, it was his face in profile. Oopsie, wrong again, it was a do-rag with longish hair sticking out. Gah, wrong again, it was night goggles. Can any of us really say what's in that pic?
The time that Toni saw...
But the Ingram's had 2 dogs, and Toni said that the older dog, Tessi, barked when there was someone at the door. And that she barked once during the stalking (but no mention of whether she barked when the guy was on the front porch, twice.)
And Toni says multiple times that the neighbor's...

(note that I added the "..." in order to shorten the quote to emphasize the parts that I care about)
"Morgan paused and looked at me. I think he could be on R’s roof next door. “Why? I asked, “Have you seen him?” Morgan shook...
Without a single neighbor ever once looking out of their window in the moonlight to see some loon running around the Ingram's yard (or rooftop) wearing gigantor head gear?
Without the police, on 50+ visits, ever simply glancing upwards?
Without the Ingrams ever hearing someone walking...
Same here, I've literally jumped out of my skin when a bee or giant moth or dragonfly hits the glass. Happens all the time (especially in the late summer months!) and sounds like a rock hitting a windshield. It can be very loud!
Those goggles are ginormous. He's not wearing these goggles in the wildlife cam pic. Nor was he wearing them the time Toni saw him on the front porch.
So he wears them all the time in order to avoid detection, but just happened to forget them at home the two times he was seen. Mmmmkay...
Suicide by Ami overdose/cocktail. I believe she took her own life. I think she was likely taking Ami on a daily basis, without her parents' knowledge, and that the stalking was the result of one or more known Ami side effects - hallucination, anxiety, etc. Another side effect is suicidal...
Exactly, why the resistance to anything the parents suggested that would allow them to corroborate the noises? Perhaps Morgan was beginning to doubt herself as well, or felt guilty about what this was doing to her parents, and this contributed to her suicidal state of mind.
It's just too far...
