Seems they discovered the trail on Day 22, and she can see the trail from the back door on man-on-porch Day 24. Then, I think at some point after Morgan's death, they see the trail in the google earth image (still searching for the link to that one)...

Same here, I've literally jumped out of my skin when a bee or giant moth or dragonfly hits the glass. Happens all the time (especially in the late summer months!) and sounds like a rock hitting a windshield. It can be very loud!

Exactly, why the resistance to anything the parents suggested that would allow them to corroborate the noises? Perhaps Morgan was beginning to doubt herself as well, or felt guilty about what this was doing to her parents, and this contributed to her suicidal state of mind. It's just too far...
