WA - Unidentified Male: "Lyle Stevik", Grays Harbor, 17 Sept 2001 - #5

I agree, Carbuff. I think he'd had a who's-collar job at least until recently, and likely a middle-class upbringing (the orthodontic work). I don't think he's from a reservation, as the rates of poverty on reserves are quite high. I think he came from a city, where he was likely employed.

Whatever they cost back then, real leather name brand boots in good condition are not something the average lower-middle class or homeless person would have. If he were poor, I'd expect to see very worn footwear, a discount brand, or preowned boots (Yes we can find multiple exceptions, but we're...

WA - Unidentified Male: "Lyle Stevik", Grays Harbor, 17 Sept 2001 - #5

I'm new to this thread, and very interested in the case. I wish we did have DNA testing for ethnicity, as I think that would narrow things down. Some of my initial observations: His clothes are brand name (Levi's, Tims), good quality (real leather belt) and in good condition. I don't...

Ah, gotcha! Maybe post over in Jackie's forum in case someone's still looking for her? It's a hell of a coincidence. I don't think she's FLEK either, I think FLEK was unreported missing. I hope this case gets major national exposure because I think our best bet is if someone recognizes her...

I'm confused...if Jackie Boyer was missing, why do we have yearbook photos of her from after she went missing as well as a wedding announcement? I agree, S/S could have given us way more information that would help us ID her, but his intent wasn't to help us, it was to put something, in...

Was Jackie Boyer reported missing? Or is she just someone we found in a yearbook? Apparently Spring/Summer did contact Velling, another sleuther confirmed that with Velling. My understanding is that if identity FLEK used with S/S was just another alias, it wouldn't solve the case.

Do you mean the three *right* photos? The three on the right look like the same girl to me, but not the leftmost one. But yeah, they're all very very similar (but not to FLEK).

The yearbook girl also has a much more prominent jawline and a pointy chin. FLEK's chin is more oval. Generally the lower face elongates with age.

Has Jackie Kay Boyer ever been discussed as a possibility here? There isn't much known about her disappearance. I see some similarities: shape of mouth and front teeth, slightly upturned nose, dimple on right cheek.Attachment 79115 Sassy, check out the latest discussion on the yearbook...

I agree with Evafiore, none of the proposed matches could possibly be FLEK. She doesn't look like she has Marfans to me either. There are lots of tall women in the world. Reaching out to BST's father might be helpful. I personally don't think they're related, but he might have theories about...

If they did work together in Irving, it could also be retail or food service. Perhaps there are temporary jobs in the summer, like with a fair or carnival? I used to work in a food booth at a carnival every summer; it was a popular job for young people aged 16-23 and we all got off work at...

I really don't see it, sorry. I think the ear position really confirms its two different people.

Apologies, Sherwood Park, apparently the Irving address was listed under her name on ancestry.com. The info is the Texas Addresses thread.

Have we seen this before? It's her official obituary. It contains at least the story she gave to the Ruff family. http://www.raderfh.com/m/obituaries/Lori-Erica-Ruff-877739/Memories

Sherwood Park, it's from her resume. Check the "Texas addresses" thread in the forum. That's interesting that other people have the chiropractic office listed as a home address. It makes me think it must have post office boxes. I guess the next step is to contact one of them and ask?

I also found S/S credible, for what it's worth. Someone up thread mentioned they'd confirmed with Velling that he'd been in contact with S/S? Is this true? That's very interesting about the address in Irving. Could FLEK have worked there? What was the office building before it was a...

Possible matches for UID Longview, TX woman

That's correct, but I wonder why there is a discrepancy, and which is true. As people speculate on possible matches, I think it matters whether she altered her appearance and by how much.

Possible matches for UID Longview, TX woman

One thing that strikes me about the NAMUS flyer: she is listed as having no "artificial body parts". Didn't the Seattle Times article mention she had breast implants?

Am I missing something? This UID doesn't have a red IGA smock (though it does seem a good match otherwise). Sloane, did you ever find the Doe entry with the smock that you mentioned? Back to FLEK, I don't believe she was ever reported missing. I believe we would have found her already if that...
