I got berated last night for saying that ever since the defense began presenting their case things have gotten very interesting. (I admit that I did not use the correct verbage in my post). But, I must admit that a lot of the prosecutions case was long-winded and not pertinent in proving that...
I think Cummings just gave the jurors another reason for them to place more emphasis on "reasonable doubt". He questioned a friend of BC and NC's and he gave a pretty accurate description on how NC may have been murdered....not at all like wht the CPD considered. I think Cummings is helping...
I hope it is Cummings that continues on with the rest of the case. He seems a bit frazzled and frustrated. He could actually be helping the defense more than he'd care to admit
Like I had mentioned previously, something about her and JP just strikes me as odd. I feel they are both hiding something important. Wondering if the defense will bring JA back up on the stand? I hope so, because I think we will hear things that will give us more insight as to why she lied /...
This all shows the incompetence of this police department during this investigation. They simply took the word of NC's friends without thoroughly investigating this crime. Doesn't make me feel very confident in how the CPD handles crimes. I guess JA can embellish like the best of them
Hate to get in this discussion because I feel they were both wrong. But, I don't agree that NC was looking for intimacy if she had a one-night stand with JP. That would equate to pure sex not the longing for a long-term relationship, and someone to love her.
And in all fairness, we don't...
JP and HM seem to be the popular ones in this neighborhood. Disgusting and such lack of morals. The fact that JP said that he didn't want this to come out in order to avoid hurting his ex-wife and kids is a joke. He should have thought of that before he was so sneaky and downright...
Does it really have a strong bearin on this case where anyone had sex with anyone else? Both NC and BC were completely wrong. Noone was worse or better than the other. They both were wrong in their extramarital affairs. Just because one did it on the couch and the other in the closet (with...
Fantastic. This basically sums it all up for me. He should NOT be convicted based on all of this. Hoping someone from the defense reiterates each and everyone of these points in closing
When I go for a run, it could take 30 minutes or I could be gone hours. Sometimes in the middle of my run I will stop by a friends house for some water and to chat and then continue on. My husband or friends would not be concerned if I was gone 1 hour or even 2 hours. I asked my husband and...
That is exactly what I have been saying. You can not convict on what you "think". There needs to be proof. And the CPD screwed this up from the very begining. As Kurtz said: they are inept and he has proven this throughout the duration of this trial.
Wow - if someone can out and screamed that they murdered NC and that it was not BC, I still don't think some of you would believe it. But, that would make BC very unlucky, huh? Lost his wife, kids, job, 2.5 years in jail. Not so lucky, then, huh?
I have changed my mind multiple times throughout the duration of this trial and could possibly change it again. I just can't "go with my gut" on this one. I don't think anyone should be convicted on one's "gut feeling". I think there has to be evidence that can be proven to show guilt...
In all honesty, I am not sure if he did it or not. I guess most of me would lean towards him probably doing it, but I just don't feel that there is enough evidence to put someone in jail for the rest of their lives. I would need more substantial evidence to come back with a guilty verdict
What about the state of mind NC had with JP. They had phone calls, etc. Again, not trying to bash NC, but why is it okay for her to do it and not BC. I don't get it why he is deemed so awful at his indiscretions (and this one NOT being one of them, because noone has said anything happened...
