Warning GRAPHIC I don't think that is large enough to be a full torso, if you compare the size of the men in the picture. However, if you compare the color of the man's hand, it does appear that what is on the ground is consistent with flesh color.

Thanks, and this is OFF TOPIC the truth is (regarding my cousins) they were the driver and passenger in a stolen vehicle and DUI. As untimely and sad as the deaths were for their parents and family, they were unfortunately substance abusers and lived a criminal lifestyle. I am so so so...

I interpret what I see as the other side of the folded stretcher. In other words, I'm lost as to how someone can see these details. For those who saw the remains, could you share in medical terms what you saw? (ie, torso and one hand...etc) so we can have a clearer understanding?

I lost 2 cousins in a violent automobile accident and visually identified. Despite both having IDs on them, they were listed as unidentifieds because LE ASSUMED their IDs were fake, no contact was made at their correct addresses on those IDs, and they were held at the ME until we realized they...

I know I said this before but my last shared thought on "not intact" MO is that LE could, and would, have said "due to being left in the elements and scavenger activity, the body is no longer intact" if it was due to animal activity, because they wouldn't want to leave that open to sensational...

For those of us who didn't see that, could you put a graphic warning and explain in the least offensive way possible what you saw? (torso and leg, etc) just so we can understand?

Yes. Like the Jorelys Rivera case. The perp had prior juvenile accusations of molesting a family member and escalated to stranger (or casual aquaintense) abduction for molestation, the first and only of which resulted in murder.

I agree, but I am also considering that he might have left it as an afterthought.Maybe he abducted, murdered her, placed remains in trunk or other vehicle altogether, dumped the remains, then goes to visit someone and realizes the bookbag is in the front seat floorboard... Pulls into the nearest...

BBM I have seen this mentioned a few times, and I think it was brought up because there was speculation that her clothes were found in her backpack, and secondary speculation that she might have changed her own clothes as opposed to the perp removing or changing them. FWIW, I have 2 preteen...

I'm still reading every post, anxious for new news. MOO regarding the "not intact", while it could be animals, usually this is phrases by LE as "not able to quickly identify due to exposure and scavengers" or "damage due to being left in the elements". I think to say the remains were...

GUILTY WY - Jesse Speer for kidnap, rape of 10yo girl, Cody, 8 Oct 2012

I know this is a big stretch and I know many feel that the Celis case was an "inside" deal, but I hope it is at least looked at if this man was in AZ in April...

3 quick points: Having a 13 year old daughter and being familiar with her classmates, I can add that 13 yr old boys can look 10 or 15. It is a stage that allows for huge variations in development. If the other boys were younger, and this one is a young looking 13, that could still fit in the...

I have been lurking to catch up on this before posting. I was local to the Jorelys Rivera case which brought me here to WS. Most of my questions were answered in the earlier threads, most of my ideas posted by others, so I have little to add so far, just 2 things that popped into my mind on...

My girls are slightly older than the "prank call" girls, and from regularly volunteering in their schools and always having as household of friends, I feel pretty confident in my opinion that kids that age know better, and their punishment was NOT too harsh. I would be ashamed and furious if my...

Hi, Everyone. I'm still here and catching up every few days.. Nothing significant to add. I do appreciate the ongoing conversation, and hope there is progress soon. My daughter asked me, after I told her there were no developments in this case, " how can kids just disappear like that?" so sad.

That one crossed my mind, and strange they both had older brothers home at the time. I know this is somewhat meaningless, but PR sure seemed TO ME to be strange.. Stranger than RC... But most of that strangeness was learned of after the fact.. and that ransom note was hinky as h....

I respect your opinion, and I don't disagree, but I do feel that there are plenty of responsible, safe mothers in their 30s that did some stupid things in their 20s that they are regretful of. I think a DUI with a child is awful, but I don't think it means you will forever be a bad parent or are...

I agree that driving drunk is bad. But let's say a total WHAT if this was coming home from a family BBQ, had her first child in the car, somewhat new and young mom, maybe had two beers in a one beer time frame...still a bad and dangerous choice, but would that make her a high risk or child...
