Found Deceased MT - Rita Maze, 47, Wolf Creek, 6 Sept 2016 #1

Also, she had her phone in the trunk for 10 hours but never called 911 or her family. It took TEN HOURS to reach out. I called this suicide right from the beginning. No carjacker on earth would let her take her phone into the trunk!

Translation: don't look for my car.

Why would she wait 10 hours to make a call just to "save battery?" Any rational person would start calling 911 like mad, and if the battery dies, at least you tried! And the exit latch literally glowed in the dark. And no kidnapper would let her take a phone into the trunk in the first...

Yes, it is a bright orange pull tag. I think mine might even glow in the dark.

And how lucky for the carjacker that she just happened to have a gun in the car for him to shoot her with. ONE. SHOT.

Well that would explain the hysteria. "Why did you call the police!?!? I have been kidnapped and now you could have put me in danger! Call off the police!!" (Just a theory. I think she was desperate for time to be alone and think, and finding out she was wanted pushed her over the edge.)

Unless there is a leak in the exhaust system, there should not be any fumes at all in the trunk. The exhaust goes out the pipes and into the air. The trunk is not airtight from the passenger compartment, so there cannot be fumes in the trunk!

I believe they were expecting her home. About 5 hours before she finally called them. She had a phone with her in the trunk for 10 hours and never called 911 or home?! Yah right.

Correction: Rita never called 911. She only called her husband.

She busted it out with a tire iron to bolster her carjacking story.

She is way behind. Police have since stated there is no POI.

It makes sense to me that if you are trying to commit suicide but fake a murder, you would fire 2 shots for the cop on the phone to hear. He would think there is a perp because a suicide victim can't shoot twice. Unless they fire once away from their body & once into their chest. I wonder if...

It sounds exactly like Borderline Personality Disorder to me.

Is there anyone left still believing the carjacker story?

@KREMlindsay: Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich says they have not ruled out any possible means in which Rita Maze died, that includes kidnapping, homicide, suicide

Worth noting: FBI statement on #RitaMaze case references "death" investigation. No mention of murder/kidnap. A KXLY reporter just tweeted that.

And she never called 911 from the trunk, right? She called her family, but not LE. They were the ones who called LE, before they received calls from her. Isn't that odd? If I were kidnapped in a trunk, my first call would be to 911!

Technically the POI could be her, if she caused her own death.

You aren't alone. I am voting suicide too.
