Thanks Charli-Ann. So I guess the video of "Gordon" is not to help identify the first actor since it shows only the known Matt Robinson. Odd. They need to post a clip from the pilot that shows the mystery Gordon.
The Sesame Street producers need to check IMDb which lists Matt Robinson as the original Gordon (1969-1972). From 1972-1975 he was the voice of Roosevelt Franklin

Don't worry, tiredblondy. Nobody is being forced to change anything. The BBC just CHOSE to use BCE/CE in their own broadcasts.
I know what you mean about it getting harder to change with age.

This is a terminology that has been used globally for a couple of decades already. My students manage to get it with about a 3 minute explanation. It really isn't that hard.
And in that 3 minute explanation, they are also learning other well-used dating terminology abbreviations such as mill...
You are correct that the BBC is not an academic institution, but it is one of the rare media outlets that handles the news in a serious and respectable manner. People all over the world tune in to them for information and so it makes sense that they wish to use terminology that recognizes their...
This is ridiculous. Of course Wal-Mart should pay for the little girl's medical bills. They are not only morally responsible but legally responsible. As someone already posted, I would be responsible if this happened to a guest in my home. Wal-Mart is responsible even if they weren't negligent.
That's what I thought when I first read the headline, Nova!
I don't know what to do to get our elected "leaders" to act for the greater good of the country. If cutting off the donations works, then Kudos to Starbucks. Unfortunately, the personal wealth of so many of the higher ups -- and...
