I don't think they were. I think that was to strengthen the request to have the record sealed. Even if she was shot, they found a bullet, matched to a serial number of a gun, why say you are worried about it being used fraudulently? I am definitely no expert on fraudulent use of serial numbers...

Just my input on the gun. I won't rule it out, but don't believe one was used. As I posted a page or two back, I am just not sure what LE has to gain from keeping that information from the public. Just like you don't have to give exact details about the puncture wounds, you could just say she...

I think the gun theories are interesting and put a spin on the angle LE is taking with the information they give us. Some are strongly of the theory LE is being honest in their statements and they are not using them to try to give SP a false sense of security. Others think their statements may...

Like everything else in this case, I wouldn't rule it out, but it seems overly complicated. If the goal is to initially lead the police down the burglary gone wrong path, I would think taking her wedding ring or anything at all from the church would have done more to sell that theory to LE than...

Jethro4WS, I am curious why you think they would have used the tools after the firearm to disguise the original wound. I don't rule out a gun (although I don't currently believe one was used), but if a gun was used prior to tools, I see the tools still being used to act out personal rage. What...

I meant to ask that earlier. Do you happen to know what point in the footage that is? I don't remember seeing anything that looked like praying or crying. TIA.

I believe LE said the car was only at the gun shop for a few minutes. If that is the case, it would have had to have been at the church for quite a while before SP was first seen on camera. My initial thought is it isn't related. With all the precautions SP took, it would be strange to park your...

My thought is if this was carried out by a 'professional' hit man that is would go down something like: Case the place Know MB's schedule and routine before the planned day of the crime Hide out side in the dark or just in side the doors you know she will come in Shoot her in the head as she...

Scout, couldn't the video be used as direct evidence if they could show the height and gait matched (along with other evidence as to why they believed a specific person was SP of course)?

This is likely because the house was once up for sale and photos are on zillow or something similar. I find that you can usually get interior pictures of a home if it has been up for sale at least once in the past few years.

The video could end up being direct evidence as well if they can match the gait or have clearer stills of the face than we have. The tools could end up being good forensic evidence as well. We know LE stated the tools SP was carrying in the video appeared to be what was used to kill her and some...

I definitely think there is a good chance the SWFA camera that recorded the Altima would have seen MB's headlights as she passed (assuming she came from that direction). I haven't ever mapped where she lived in relation to Creekside. I think it is also very possible the camera in the SW corner...

Here is my main concern with this. I see that similarity much more in some of the other edits (not yours), that quite honestly don't seem to compare much to any original pics I can find. Your eye edits appear much more authentic (as in closer to the original screenshots), but then I don't see...

Welcome, jhhollier! For me the significance of the church was nothing more that where she would be. I am not sure about this part, but I don't believe she had another job that provided a regular schedule. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, I don't want to propagate more incorrect...

I haven't noticed many differences. The few I have seen are easily explained by the angle of the camera, lighting, etc. Combining Batbrat's work showing a consistent height in captures taken throughout the video with the constant odd gait and nonchalant wandering makes me feel we are watching one...

So are you leaning to the thought they kept it and hid it somewhere? My guess is actually burn. No real reason why I think that except it seems like the safest way to ensure you aren't caught with it. With all the precautions they took to not be identified, I would think completely destroying...

Well, for now I call it just a coincidence. I am basing that on the car alone, though. If you give me more detail on your suspect (maybe just what their suspected relationship to MB is if you don't want to give initials) and what you feel their motive may have been, I may be swayed to find it...

I did forget they had mentioned tools were left behind, but honestly, I still don't think my head would immediately jump to murder. If I were staring at my friends bloodied up body and someone else was already on the phone calling 911, I do think my first instinct would be to call their husband...

For me it would depend on how well I knew BB and how I interpreted MB's situation . If I was working out with my neighbor (female) and I showed up and found her, I would call her husband to say something had happened to her and that 911 had been called. I am still working off the assumption they...

Ah, I think I see what you are saying! I don't see the square in the video, but follow what you are saying about a diamond pattern on a square tile. I really have no clue about the dimensions of anything inside and was just trying to account for the door size, but I will definitely defer to your...
