I have wondered about drugs, too. That could explain why Schon got a lawyer, especially if he is the one who provided the drugs. If it turns out that Tyler died of a drug overdose, then could Schon be held responsible? => good reason to get a lawyer. (btw, same thoughts crossed my mind about...
No doubt Brantley and Jones were the first people they investigated. But they have to have evidence for an arrest. First and foremost, they did not even know there was a murder. IMO they were questioning these 2 all along, trying to find Alexis and find out what happened. As soon as they issue...
This is so tragic.
I’m sure you’re right. But even if she (Jordan) bought some bs story from her boyfriend, that’s no excuse for participating in a murder.
But what doesn’t make sense with this is that Aniah’s parents are the ones who alerted LE to the Chevron, after they saw the purchase on her venmo. If someone had told police right away when they saw her being abducted, wouldn’t police have connected...we have witnesses to an abduction...we have...
I lean toward this theory too. But thinking maybe the accomplice posed as “Eric”, turned on the charm and struck up a conversation with Aniah. Aniah gets the texts from her roommate, responds and then tells “Eric” that she needs to head home. As she gets in her car, he forces his way in and...
IIRC, the snap texts with her roommate happened after she stopped at the Chevron. Chevron was at approx 11:20, snap texts at approx 11:30. The times have always been somewhat fluid, but don’t think the order changed.
Lost all my quotes, but re: speculation of an accomplice. Another alternative, is that he was driving a stolen car. So he just ditched the stolen car when he took Aniah. Of course, seems like LE would have found that car by now. And maybe they have, idk. Or maybe it’s yet to be found.
Still...
Opelika is where Aniah goes to school, at Southern Union. Pretty sure what you remember is that people said lots of Southern Union students live in Auburn because it’s basically the same.
and @Mistree
I should have realized sooner. I have Honda Pilot, (2016 or 17 can’t remember) and the seat actually glides back when you turn the car off. Makes it easier to get in and out. Then when you get back in the car and turn it on, the seat glides back into driving position. If her Honda...
One correction - Alexis’ phone was not found in her apartment.
Police outline days before Clark Atlanta University student went missing
Alexis' phone, identification card and debit card are missing from the residence, police said.
Personally, I don’t think they’re related, but of course could...
I wonder if they are trying to preserve her privacy, in hopes she has chosen to take some time to herself. If there is another person involved in the earlier incident, and if LE knows who that person is, then I’m sure they’re pursuing that angle.
I do hope she is taking time to herself, vs...
Family fears foul play involved in disappearance of grandmother missing 40 days from Massachusetts home
Laina said she discovered the back door was unlocked. Once inside, she noticed her mother’s shoes and purse were gone.
I don’t find that concerning at all. It is a very common way to transfer money these days. IMO most kids that age transfer money thru venmo or another cash transfer app. I use one to send my 19yo daughter her allowance.
