I may get thrown in there with her too MSA! I am not one of her fans but I would love to get some insight from her directly. And to check out which of her voices she may use to speak with me. I am thinking the last 'news' that came out about M. Peterson was that the state WILL retry him. I...

I will try to see you there.....and the other one that was mentioned a few moments ago. Is it the same case? I will have to work hard the next few days to rid myself of the poundage I've gained this week on this trial.

When Boz is elected Wake Co. DA, maybe he can spearhead a movement to get all of these things corrected in the NC sentencing laws. He will definitely have recent, fist hand experience with the same disgust that we share.

He used to be halfway cute. He looks the part of a murderer now--you will not like him at all. I do love his name though.

Before we all scatter to parts unknown, lets make a definite plan about the next trial. Abaroa here in NC? I am definitely going to be there.

From the Raleigh News and Observer: Wake jury finds Amanda Hayes guilty of murder By Anne Blythe Amanda Hayes testifies in her defense Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the Wake County Justice Center. Hayes, 41, a former actress and art-supply store owner, is accused of working in concert with...

I'm ok with the murder 2 conviction. She was convicted. No hung jury and no not guilty verdict. I can live with it.

Maybe I'm just too mean and cynical but I don't think she ever cried. She pretended to cry a few times--about herself--and when she put her hands up to her face and nearly wailed when she was talking about GH threatening to throw Lily out of the car. But I honestly thought it was all fake and...

My daughter's boyfriend worked with GH on designing computer graphics for some of GH's stuff a couple of months before the murder. Boyfriend said GH gave him a bad vibe and he couldn't wait to get finished and be done with all interaction with GH.

Good morning! Not storming here yet but it's definitely on the way. I woke throwing up this morning....migraine will follow. It must be one heck of a storm to rattle your windows. My windows are almost 200 years old so they rattle and creak in a light breeze :) Dang, I know I want this jury...

Didn't somebody ask earlier today if they were hung on a 1 or 2 murder charge would that void the entire trial? Did we get an answer? I know the instruction was if the jury could not reach murder 1, then go to murder 2, and then to conspiracy, etc. but what happens if they can't agree on a...

A lot of attorneys do that very thing. This is such a goofy gang of defense attorneys I can't imagine anybody wanting to hire them after they appeared so stupid during the trial. However!!! If she walks, then that's a different story altogether, lol!

She may have fired her other counsel, I don't think I heard that. Seems that shortly after she was arrested it was announced that she had hired Gaskins and Rosemary,,,whatever her last name is. I may be wrong--I'm old.

You're probably right but the VI was when her life was 'perfect' in so many ways. I can see her trying to reconstruct that life and that lifestyle, hoping that nobody would know about this murder mess in NC. She may be on her own if she beats this. I can't think of anybody who would warmly...

I'm still thinking she may have a small bank account hidden somewhere that is paying for her private defense. She refused the state provided attorney. I wish I knew how much Gaskins et al charged her, I don't think she got her money's worth. Or maybe she did......

Born has the scoop on the delay, something about the juror notices not having been sent out on time. I think she said it is rescheduled for March. She can chime in with the details.
