I read where he left the shell casings behind. More than likely the fingerprints were lifted from those although I could never find any confirmation of that. I also read where one of the victims fought with the suspect and she may have some of his DNA under her fingernails.
Interesting read. One thing I didn't see mentioned or explained was the fingerprints they recovered. If this Mona Nelson was the killer and they ran her fingerprints they should come back as a match. In my opinion, after listening to the 911 audio, I believe it was a male voice however there...
Maybe it's just me, but the guy they just arrested for kidnapping the girl in Virginia, Jesse Matthew, looks a lot the sketch in this case. Does anyone else see a resemblance?
I agree, there are probably several people out there who know exactly who he is and probably where he is at this very moment. They are protecting him but someday his luck will run out. Some things that really bother me about this case: Why is it that nobody else in that shopping center saw him...
I never thought of it that way but you have a point. She was the only living eyewitness and she was traumatized too. I think for the most part it is accurate but I'm sure there are details she wouldn't remember because she was traumatized. I would feel much better about this sketch and...
Well here we are six years later and they are still no closer to catching this guy than they were on day 1. I can't believe someone can walk into a store in the late morning, regardless of how cold it was, spend as much time in the store as he did, shoot 5 people at point blank range and then...
Cases like this really bother me. This case and the Lane Bryant case where multiple people are gunned down for no reason and the killer/killers seem to vanish into thin air.
I agree the description is too good. Not to mention they have his voice and fingerprints, and I beleive they have his DNA. Not positive about that though. There is no reason why they should not have caught this guy by now. We're talking about six years now. Have we ever heard more about the...
I wish they would feature this story on TV a lot more. Unsolved Mysteries, Crime and Investigation or something. Maybe if they get this guys image out to a more national audience, somebody might recognize him. He could be anywhere right now.
