I agree, also so they don't have to testify against each other if they are married. I always thought that when someone in the midst of an investigation gets married asap.
But would he continue taking the medicine since he got them under false pretenses and is charged for it? That wouldn't seem right, even though he wasn't charged with having them illegally because they were prescribed to him, he still got them illegally because he lied in order to get them...
Its a high, but after awhile you need to take more to get the high. And if you stop your body will go through horrible withdrawls, so sometimes people want to quit so bad but they can't because of the symptoms. They make you physically sick, withdrawing from them. Its a vicious circle...
The worst part for him, if he is addicted to them, will be the withdrawl from them, "cold turkey". Ha Ha No pun intended! I can't even imagine what that would feel like going through that in jail. I have heard and seen that it is hard enough when you are in a medical setting, and taking...
I agree, that there are so many people that do this. The only reason he got caught was because they were investigating him. I think they were trying to find anything on somebody so they could have some leverage. They needed something to make somebody talk, and this was a nice little bonus...
Guilty-1st degree-premeditated murder. From the evidence released to us, thats the way I would have to go. Unless they show me direct evidence from another killer or a confession from someone other than the defendant, I am satisfied with my decision.

Wow, I never caught that when I first listened. You can't really get out of that lie, that is pretty important whether he saw the things he described, or it is just that easy to produce a lie in any given scenerio.
