I wonder if she had been using any dating sites or apps. I'm sure LE is checking in to that and it may give some more information as to her plans for that Friday.
I also wonder if she had a passcode on her phone or if it was accessible to anyone.
If all three cell phones were traced going back to Houston, he mustve brought them back to Houston and then dumped them (the victims, not the cell phones) there. He wouldn't have just driven their car and cell phones to Houston. So although the perp was in Austin, I would guess they (the...
But is that because the charge is murder 2nd degree, as in not premeditated? Can they up the charge if/since they could show he planned this whole thing out?
About the girlfriend, this will be interesting to see what unravels with her. I'm betting she did know about what his plan was because...
I'm sure he didn't bring the acid in the checked bag, so I wonder if there is any video of him buying that on the 25th. He probably paid cash since he's "so smart."
Disgusting pig.
You could take them in checked baggage, couldn't you? I mean like if you bought Ryobi stuff for someone as a Christmas gift and was bringing it to them in another state you could just put them in checked baggage and they would not be a danger to anyone on the flight, right? Isn't that right...
This whole case is just heartbreaking. I haven't been on the forum often lately, but today decided to read about this case. I started with the first thread and read it all in order post after post. I hadn't read about it on msm and to read more than a month's worth of posts in the span of one...
I agree. What are the odds that a random person would abduct them several hours away and then happen to dump their car in the town they are from. Seems way too coincidental to me.

This doesn't make much sense to me. Correct me if I am wrong, but the pair are from Houston. They are platonic friends. She a single mother, he a married dad of four. They take a trip to Austin for a music festival, have plans to stay at a friend's house and leave their suitcases or whatever...

Not surprising. I'd guess defense figures it will be hard to find an impartial jury after all the publicity the case has gotten. This would help weed more people out during the selection.

Are your sister and the kids with family now? I hope they are getting a lot of emotional support. It doesn't sound like they have been living in a very good situation for a long time. Was she supposed to be home schooling the kids all this time? Between that and no medical attention, no stable...
I was wracking my brain to figure out what you were thinking of and only now it hit me that you were getting the name mixed up, right?? Ugh the creepy model pix? Lol thanks for the reminder. Not. Ha ha
This is so sad. I just can't understand how someone just disappears this way. I hold out hope that he is alive and well. As much as it would be hard to imagine someone choosing to just take off and get a "break" and leave their loved ones behind. I so wish that was the case here because the...
In my opinion, a person who leaves their wife and four children in a van in the Utah mountains in March, with the windows open and no keys to be able to close them, when a snow storm has started, was not trying to "save" anyone. It sounds like the contrary to me.
