OR - Kyron Horman, 7 yo Second grader, Portland, 4 June 2010 - Part #7

Have the police said that Kyron was at school that morning beyond a shadow of a doubt? I know his friend mentioned he saw him, but it seems like a reporter asked this question yesterday -- and was told, "no comment" -- which might lead you to believe that they aren't even 100% sure that he...

No offense taken. This would probably be the lead story on Nancy Grace if Jordan wouldn't have popped back up in the news. If it seems that the police aren't treating the main family as a suspect, trust me -- they are. They have to be extremely careful in making it seem as if they are...

Anyone know if they have released the initial 911 call?

Great question. The school has to protect itself. They were responsible for Kyron that day. When you send your child to school, you don't sign a waiver form saying that if he is abducted, the school is not at fault. Also - The school district is paid by the number of children that are in...

Anyone heard if LE has secured the digital camera that was used to snap that photo of Kyron at the science fair? Even if the photo didn't have a time stamp written on the photo, most cameras record the date and time on the screen. I'd also look at the main computer to see when the photo...

I asked this question earlier. Are they 100% certain that picture was taken Friday morning? In any case of a missing person . . . Wife or child -- the immediate family is ALWAYS the number one suspect -- the police are always politically correct and won't say this . . . I'm assuming...

Something still doesn't ring true to me about this case. The one day the step mom takes Kyron to school -- he goes missing. It just really is beginning to scream to me "Creating an alibi"

I also find it odd they haven't done any searches at the family home -- especially with Luminol.

Does anyone know how long the Science Fair projects had been setup? Did they set up his frog exhibit THAT DAY -- or was it setup sooner?

While watching this press conference . . . I think it's obvious that the police have no suspects and have not had any credible leads. It's not really their fault though -- it's a very unique situation to probably have a child taken directly from a school.

They could be saying "isolated case" -- as to not cause a widespread panic in the community. If they knew exactly what has happened to Kyron or where he was -- they would send the full extent of the law to recover him. (In my opinion)

This is a great point. The school is liable for Kyron. They aren't answering questions about procedures and who was possibly in the school that morning -- because of a potential lawsuit. Having said that though -- if it was a parent of another student who did this -- that's not really the...

At my daughter's elementary school, if the child is not in their seat by 8:00, the parents are contacted immediately -- unless the parents have already let the school or teacher know about a sickness, etc. If there is a doctor's appointment and a child has to leave class -- they are walked by...

Ransom? This isn't a ransom case.

Not a bad point - it's just extremely rare for a teenager to abduct a young child. Anything at this point is possible.

Have they beyond a doubt confirmed that Kyron was even at the school that morning? Is there any possibility his science fair project was setup the day before? Normally in cases like these aren't the parents pleading for their child's safe return?

There was someone in the school that morning that didn't look out of place. He went out a door on his own free will as there were too many people there that morning that would have noticed a screaming child. As others have stated, he was lured out. A child the same age as Kyron diid not...

As I posted earlier -- once Mommy gets there, he will tell her that they forced him to confess -- and he will use her as a mouth piece for the cruelty he went through. She'll make the rounds on what a great boy he is. Book it.
