Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

Today's DM: "... But the new video obtained by MailOnline shows that a short time later she made an unexpected diversion off St Augustine's Street for some reason, passing along a short pedestrianised stretch into Bakers Road, after being caught by a camera at the corner." Bakers Road runs in...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

As regards speculations about the rings and GL's marriage, let me quote yesterday's DM: Gaynor's husband Clive Lord, 63, is said to be 'in bits', her sister-in-law Susan Sinclair told The Sun, with them all hoping she will be found 'safe and well'. 'Clive is in bits, obviously, but he's got his...

Found Deceased UK - Gaynor Lord was last seen in Norwich city centre on London Street heading towards Norwich Cathedral, 2:35 pm, 8 December 2023

I wonder if what happened in the church (or failed to happen, like someone not showing up) may have made a difference.

In this 'last picture' she is looking up at a 'Custom T-Shirt Printing' shop, which has a very visible camera above the entrance. https://maps.app.goo.gl/hLWE6nEFV3qZ9U24A

As long as there is no indication that crime is involved, it would be best IMO to concentrate on GL's disappearance, not her private life and possible motives for suicide. Her behaviour on CCTV looked, to me, hurried, troubled, maybe confused and erratic. After all that went before, her yoga...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #19

A police officer floating downstream (sometimes walking) in the river Wyre, from the 'point of entry' to beyond the weir. Remarkable how swift...

I am not aware of any "online conspiracies". Surely, what the coroner meant (or actually said) is "conspiracy theories". We may deplore it, but in cases like this people will speculate. By the way, conspiracies are a common fact of life. Some conspiracy theories simply turn out to be correct...

ROLL CALL!!! Where is everyone from?

I live in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, and I am Dutch. The first time I actively participated in a topic was back in 2014, after two Dutch girls disappeared in the semi-jungle north of Boquete, Panama. Lately I've joined the discussions about Nicola Bulley from Lancashire, England, who...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #18

I agree with everything you say about the dog. Plus: why would Nicola have gone through one of the gates/stiles? It would have led her to the caravan park or Allotment Lane, away from the river. If she planned to enter the water somewhere downstream, she would probably have taken the river path...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #18

I haven't seen any evidence of tidewaters flowing upstream as far east as St. Michael's. And strictly speaking the body can't have been there "all the time". It may have taken the river days to deposit the it there. There must have been a period in which a PF-type 1 mile search could have...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #18

I believe the police have consistently stated that the phone was on the bench. I listened again to what I think was the first presser on Feb. 3rd, a week after NB's disappearance, and reread the transcript. Supt Sally Riley said "on the bench" several times. She misspoke and corrected herself...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire), Jan 2023 #18

If it was self-harm, a few things are in need of an explanation. Not long before she went off radar, she sent what I assume were 'normal' text messages to a friend and to her boss, and then she listened in on a conference call. How to square this with planned self-harm? Was it deliberate...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

<modsnip - quoted post was removed> Personally I don't believe in things like ESP. But amidst the sensationalism around the man who found NB it may be useful to quote his own statement, in which he downplays (IMO) his supernatural abilities: "I decided to use whatever 'gift' it is we mediums...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

I hate hindsight wisdom and yet I wonder, wouldn't a fallen tree so close to the bench have been exceptional enough to merit special attention? It's not as if we're talking about a square mile.

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

The question whether NB fell in or went in remains unanswered for the moment. If the text messages she sent to her boss and a friend between 8:50 and 9:00 were no distraction attempts, it may well have been an accident. However, I wonder if everything in her job went as well as it is presented...

NB may have entered the water near the bench, but may also have walked all or part of the way. I am wondering if she was found in the river proper or in some reedy or brushwood-like part of the bank. In which case she could have hidden there to wait for the end.

If correct, it seems a little odd indeed. This caravan park is off Garstang Road (A586), but it is ~5 miles west of St. Michael's. And it's next to the river. The second caravan park we are discussing today.

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #16

I read a different, non-suspicious meaning in Ron's "That would have been my first [thought?]". Not expressing condition (would have been, IF...), but high probability. As in: A: "Do you remember the guy we saw at The White Horse?" B: "Yes, that would have been Peter's brother." Ron is just...

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #9

This must have been discussed before, as so many things are, but I couldn't find it. I am really wondering if it is even possible for a body to pass the weir, maybe 200 yards downstream from the bench, in the rather sluggish river that is the Wyre?
