Bolded by me.
Right, that was my point. I am shocked about the trusted friend, not that it wasn't SC.
Many of you are quick to accuse others of accusing SC, when quite a few comments were in regards to trafficking, disappearing on her own, etc.
Wow, what a turn. This whole thing is beyond what I could have thought up. Incredible. I, too, am trying so hard to not get ahead of the media. Just awful. RIP Heidi, and thank gosh that precious baby is alive!
My first thought when I read about this case was that it was a fake or orchestrated disappearance for money and attention. As I continue to read through the information and watch interviews, I still can't seem to shake that feeling.
I just hope that both are soon found safe and well.
I just sat here and read through the last 6 pages of this forum and wow, so much has happened in the last 48 hours. Most importantly, I am so very glad to have seen that justice has finally come to fruition in this case. I can only hope that Erin's soul is now restfully at peace and her family...
I believe all of the above links point to her being killed on the same day that she was placed in the mine (as admitted to by CL himself). Which also coincides with the texts that were sent to her best friend that very same morning.
The defense simply questioned if the time of death could be...
I assume they will also argue that someone else sent the messages from her phone (on the morning of her abandonment) in order to cover the crime?
Wow, what an information filled day. Admittedly, my mouth gaped open while catching up and reading through today's tweets. In my personal opinion, NL has a lot to answer for as well. It's a shame that the marital privilege comes in to play in the state of CA.
BBM. I could not agree more. The text messages definitely do tend to lay out all that is needed to place CL there at the right time, and even gives some discussion as to how far they were headed that morning.
As the time ticks closer and closer, Erin has filled my mind more and more. Sending prayers to her family that justice will be done. It won't be an easy process, but I at least hope it is swift.
CL was taking his horse with him. So I am not too sure EC would even consider leaving hers behind if there were thoughts or discussions to leave together. There has been a lot of emphasis on how much of an animal lover she was. I don't see why she would give hers up if he didn't, in my opinion.
