I wonder if IM is just trying to distance her horse ranch from this whole sordid affair. Her place seams to rely on donations, volunteers, people adopting horses and I imagine many are family's with children.Murders and affairs are not big selling points.

Thanks button simply is not enough for this, tvscum! This works very well via iPhone.

:tyou: SO much!

:highfive:

Listening to IM's inflection, tone, and in her own voice is striking. What was most striking is how little she seemed to be concerned about Erin. Just the fact ma'am and very disconnected. Also, I got the impression that she seemed quite protective of the L's....

That's 100% IMO, JMO. :moo: - in fact a whole herd of :cow:

IM was either lying or wrong about Erin not working for Tractor Supply. EC's working there was verified by truthbeknown. Which begs the question, "What else was IM wrong about/or lied about?"

I still haven't really come to a conclusion in my mind about whether she lies/lied, or she is one of those people who wants to think they know everything that's going on around them when maybe they really don't. In my experience some people really, really like to feel as if they're "in the know." I do believe that EC started her job at Tractor Supply but maybe wasn't there very long.

Just jumping off, not a direct response to this post, but I'd personally be pretty mad if someone had a gun of any type stored in my house and I didn't know about it. I'm surprised she hasn't said more about that. I can also kind of see people laughing about the "potato gun" except for the fact that I've seen they can do way more damage than one would think. I tend to doubt it was used in this crime but I can actually see it being used to at minimum knock someone unconscious. (ouch that hurt to type)

Could well be. Would you want to send your teens out there volunteering again after you heard about this story? Granted it could happen anywhere, but the fact that at least part of it happened there has to be pretty bad for publicity.

Let me try this.We know from the text that their plan was go two hrs away. They were not going to tell their spouses that so they needed to come up with some story to cover themselves. You would think EC would ask CL "where did you tell your wife you are going to be today" or "what are you going to tell your wife to be able to get away all day" and you would think especially with what we know now CL would ask "where did you tell your husband you are going to be today" yet their cover story's put both of them at JTNP.

Yes, I think that was also part of the plan though because CL wanted them to stay searching JTNP looking for Erin. Just my thoughts though. He seems controlling so I feel like he told Erin hey this is what you can tell JC.

It's apparent by looking at the horse ranch website that her brain is all there for certain but boy did you see asking for donations for a "SPA", WOW. That is NOT necessity nor something the horses could use. Uggh. I think her entire setup needs investigated. She definitely has had financial trouble too when I searched her online and found previous court documents. I think she is the rumor mill of the town and likes to think she knows everything about everybody. But I totally agree, there is no way she did NOT know of at least the affair especially since it was said Erin stayed the night at the ranch sometimes. I tend to think that would have been Erin and CL together type situation if so. I don't believe her when she says that CL and NL were both there on the Sunday after Erin's disappearance either just because she sounds so unreliable and lying to the public with her backtracking. Heck, she is probably the one who kept their child on the Sat while they did their ordeal. It's clearly obvious that she told the truth to the LE investigator because she did not think anyone else would find out what she said and then she had to save Grace from CL and NL once that became public as well as trying to save her *business* that I'm suspicious of entirely too.

Does anyone besides me think that it is possible NL was the one who set the ordeal up with Erin via CL's phone? It keeps going back and forth in my mind because I just find it hard for a guy to come up with the idea of "celebrating the pregnancy" so I feel like maybe NL had known or found CL's phone and texts and she texted Erin pretending to be CL setting it up and arranging it and told him he had to follow through in which he did.

Ok I was able to listen on my cell phone.
This woman, IM is, IMO totally disingenuous.

It seems like she is pretty close to the Lee's. The Lee's " Always " come together " as a family" I love the way she minimized the potato gun , " oh that " haha. " They were upstanding citizens" EVEN knows CLs buddies names Cory and Skyler - if he would've only gone with them

She knows some personal details about Erin too, like her work situation ( didn't actually work at the tractor store - she didn't take that one) and how excited she was to be pregnant and then how upset to miscarry. She knew she miscarried in February etc...

She knows who comes together and when. She starts stammering when she doesn't like the questions. I don't believe for one second she didn't know about the affair. Love that laugh about "no body, no case " I could go on and on. WOW

God, I wish I could see her on the witness stand.

Huh? A spa? I see her requesting funds for a well on her page but I missed the spa part. That's crazy if true! Would you have a link for that?

Given the timeline, is it factually possible that the affair began while Erin was pregnant the first time? Second, is it factually possible based on what we know that the first baby could have been CLs?

Has the nanny job been mentioned by anyone other than IM? Or proven?

Apologies for the silliness but every time I try to think of IM's name, Imelda Marcos comes to mind.

I hope this is ok to post. If not, I'm sorry and the mods can delete. I thought it would be ok because it is only about things that we already know and have been discussing. I got the link from their home page, and it has ways to stay in contact. FB, Pinterest ect.
It is a picture we all have seen from the horse ranch. You have to be signed into FB to see it

I'm really baffled by IM's statements and reactions. Her lack of sympathy for Erin is puzzling. Yes, she was close to Nicole so I don't expect her to have gotten along with Erin but does not the murder of a young woman move her at all? I don't believe that she was involved in the murder or cover up at all so I'm really left to assume that she's deeply invested in her friendship with the Lees, so much so that even murder does not shake her back into reality.

BBM: Yes. Truthbeknown, our verified EC insider, confirmed that Erin did work for Tractor Supply. She worked for the company in her home state, and also in CA, though not very long in CA. In fact, the insider said it was Erin who suggested the Horse Rescue participate in the Grand Opening of the TS there in CA.

And what will you do with the skinned Green Mojave this winter? she asked innocently.

I make stuff, anything from just a snake skin laid flat and framed, to wrapping the quills of prayer feathers.
I'm a "recycler" of sorts, I collect all kinds of "stuff", natural stuff, skulls, bones, feathers, nests, skins, things that living creatures leave when they die. My daughter, when she was young, used to tell her friends I was a witch or bruja, because I had wind chimes/mobils I made out of deer rib bones on the front porch, :scared: it was always kind of funny to ask them if they wanted to come over for our monthly blood sacrifice! :floorlaugh:

No, I'm not wiccan, I just have a respect for things living, and once living.

You don't use a shotgun, I gather. How do you kill the rattlers?
