I strongly agree, Richard. We were still relying on paper records in 1980, although that would start to change in the not too distant future. Identity thieves looking for a new identity would rely on word of mouth to find who had recently died, or failing that they'd scan newspaper obituaries...
I've looked for that post and believe it was removed. The info it pointed to can't be discussed, as it would be considered sleuthing someone who has not been named a suspect or POI. You can sleuth on your own but can't bring that info on WS at this point.
Just a reminder that WS is victim friendly. The partner has not been named by police as either a suspect or POI at this point. As of right now he cznnot be sleuthed, named, or otherwise accused. Take a lead from LE and wait to see how their investigation progresses. This is to protect all...
I think the very worst kind of predators target the elderly, the disabled, children, and animals. I'm praying they find this poor man before something really bad happens to him.
Heavy.com is allowed (and for a very long time it was not.)
I don't disagree with that. I'm simply questioning if their byline in this instance is adequate to "report" a direct quote from social media, stating that's what it is outright.
I'm not deeply invested at "winning" something here, so...
Respectfully, I don't think anybody can be "sure" what SM or anyone else is thinking.
She asked for an attorney, not a public defender, who is assigned by the court to represent an accused person without finances to pay.
She has not at this point been accused or even named as a POI. She has...
Not disagreeing at all. But all they're doing is regurgitating a social media post, by their own admission. The info is still social media, which is why I'm asking a mod, to be sure.

What I got from that was that daughter wasn't expecting to be put into the interview -- "what do you want me to say?" just sounds exactly to me like a put-upon teenager, not one colluding with mom on a story.

Parents won't be reuniting, as both are remarried with children (bio mom has two girls.) Show of solidarity in love for their child, and I think GS knows they love him dearly.
Heavy.com's stated source is social media posts, which are not allowed. "Possibly had a doctor's appointment," so still speculation.
I get how everyone feels, and I saw the same video you did. It's just that I, for me, want to be very careful what I write about someone with no backing in facts...
You do NOT have to be charged before you can hire an attorney to advise you. Public defender later if unable to afford to hire one if you've been charged (and she has not been, nor named as a POI).
It is a common occurence to have an attorney's help when overwhelmed by a situation of any type...
She never stated she wanted anyone to pay for an attorney. She wanted to stop the interview and call one, which is her right. You don't have to be charged with a crime to have legal assistance -- to tell her that taped interview was a bad idea, for instance.
To be fair, she has been called a murderer and a lot of vile things have been said, including death threats (which I believe).
I'm not going to fault any person for asking for a attorney. That does not signify guilt, and she has an absolute right to request one.
Im also going to withhold...
For those wondering why Gannon was treated initially as a runaway:
NewsChannel 13 reported Wednesday, it is the policy of the [El Paso County] Sheriff's Office to investigate reports of missing children aged 10 and older as runaways, until evidence is found to prove an abduction or kidnapping...
At 1 lb. 6 oz. at birth, Gannon was a true preemie. And while his meds weren't described, it's likely they are for respiratory or possibly vision treatment. Preemies that small can suffer a number of serious problems, some of which will require lifelong treatment. But Gannon appears to be his...
