Have to agree with Otto - sorry for the late post on this. You have a right to counsel and to silence but your lawyer CANNOT be present when you are being questioned otherwise he will become a witness and would no longer be able to represent you - This is law in Canada - Quebec included

as of the 5th of January NF still had no lawyer...but I have heard that as of now he has found one so we should know for sure on the next court date which is Feb 8th.

Judge ruled that NF has to change his lawyer. Judge said that in the public's interest that it was best to avoid any conflicts that could arise during the trial because SL is a primary witness for prosecution. Pro forma Dec 10.....

Yes it is....SH family making really hard for NF family as I heard lately.....taking NF to civil court and accusing his family of being involved...making it hard for them to see their grandchildren etc..I have known the family for many years and there's no way they are involved in this.... they...

Just heard that key witness will not sign the waiver needed to allow NF lawyer to continue representing him.... She admitted to the Crown that she just wants him off the case.... Many questions as to "why" she is doing this IMO

Thank you. I wanted to add that I saw several posts saying that SH stayed with her mother during her last pregnancy. This is incorrect. She was living with NF and the 4 year old in NF family's upper duplex. They (his parents) even had a "Gender Reveal party" for them. So IMO they all seemed...

I tend to disagree....If NF family knew of the volatile relationship then they probably would think nothing of SH not coming home. SH family would have also known about the volatile relationship as well (I presume) and they also did not get concerned until later .... I know both families...
