Shin, thank you for sharing!
I don't think Alfredo left the country. According to your sources, last contact with Alfredo was September 12, 2013. What we know is that the landlord returned from a trip out of the country 2 days after that last contact and that's when it was discovered Alfredo...

I have tried searching online for...
The area they were searching is a town over from me. Mayetta Landing Road is one of those long roads that takes you through the marshland and out into Barnegat Bay. There are some homes on the road but also large sections of woods and tall marsh plants. It's not the type of place people can go...
Different Steven Stallworth. The Stallworth from the article you posted was murdered in a drug debt. The Stallworth who murdered Tara is in prison until at least 2038. He will be 51 years old if he's released on parole at that time.
I would love to see some more pressure applied in this case from LO...not sure what they could do and I'm not trying to pick on them, I know they are doing the best they possibly can given the circumstances, but it would be awful for this to remain unsolved. It feels so within reach.
One case that has always stuck with me was the body of a man found in the Stafford Forge Wildlife Management Area in Eagleswood (also known as West Creek), New Jersey on December 19, 2013.
The Forge is known locally for its scenic beauty. There are miles of sandy trails, abandoned cranberry...
I'm leaning toward overdose, given her young age, questionable friendships, and the charges against the men. Conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a victim (?), and desecration of remains, obviously due to the method of disposing of her body.
"2 men charged with dumping NJ teen's body in the woods."

Maybe guilty was the wrong word. She seems to have a lot more weighing on her mind than an innocent person. It's hard for me to tell if she's a sociopath or a typical angsty teenager. Again, hoping this comes to light in trial.
PhillyVoice article from a few days ago. It summarizes important events pretty well:

Following the hearing, the lawyer for Brendan's grandparents, David and Lisa Creato, said they had just learned what the state...
I wanted to link to a breaking story of another young woman who went missing in October 2015. Her remains were found this past Monday, January 11, 2016 in Woodstown. According to some reports she may have been spotted in Atlantic City around November. There are a great number of sleuths here who...
I'm going to start following this one because it reminds me of another case from 2 years ago. Joyce Vanderhoff (25) disappeared and her body was found Valentine's Day 2014 on Weymouth Rd. in Hamilton Township near the Atlantic County Blueberry Company. It was widely known that Joyce had drug...
When I initially read about DJ going to the woods to "conduct his own investigation" it made me think he was returning to the scene, as murderers sometimes do. Whether this is something killers really do is debatable, but I had a strange feeling about the report. In fact according to that...
I agree 100% about the prosecutor not showing all her cards. She did make a comment about the text messages exchanged between DJ and the girlfriend, saying some of them were "unbelievable" or something to that effect. Could be incriminating. I'm extremely anxious to see what they discussed in...
NJ and PA's age of consent is 16, so she was legally able to consent to the relationship with DJ. Still gross. It makes me believe DJ was really not ready to grow up and do the right thing for his son and was instead more focused on his delusional teenage love affair.
Thank you, Ontario Mom. Good info.
Sexual assault was ruled out. I agree about ruling out the last seven. A kidnapping seems plausible, especially if he was looking to get back at Brendan's mother for something.
I'm on the edge of my seat for arraignment today! Hoping for answers and justice!
