Goodness, I haven't been on this site for a long time. I used to frequent the threads here and there are quite a few comments from me early in this thread and in the other one. I was a student here and moved away 2 years ago, but still have family in York. I was always intrigued by the Nags Head...

I think the implication is that he isn't scared of another man, but that he doesn't want to be seen by someone. I'm not sure if we'll ever know what he was doing to be honest, I do think there's something odd about it though, and I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm also interested to know if...

That was discussed a lot on the old thread, it does kinda look like he could be looking in his pocket for something, but the way he suddenly stops in such a startled way when that other person walks across seems too telling that he was trying to hide.

I suggest looking at the other big websleuths page on this (the one with 50+ pages on it) as most of this has been covered and it has lots of interesting information. Many people on there (including me) believed that both men in the cctv were the same person as they look very similar. There was...

It's the CCTV where some daylight can be seen (early morning perhaps?), it was a man named Richard Cartwright who died three weeks after Claudia went missing and is assumed to have nothing to do with it (although he had a few links to the case). If you go on the old thread, somewhere in all...

Couple of articles here, one about the girlfriend of one of the men arrested: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/girlfriend-man-arrested-suspicion-murdering-7527730 This one is from late last year but I don't think it was posted, her mum obviously seems to think it's someone in the pub...

I also thought there was something odd about when the person stopped, at first I thought they had turned sideways. However, if we are to assume it is the same person as in the first video then it can't be a woman, as police know who that is.

That's disappointing, I actually thought they must have had something with how far they got with it. Perhaps they suspect them but can't prove it.

I feel like within all these threads and comments, there must be an answer or something close to an answer. Everyone seems to have their own ideas and their own bits of evidence and things they have heard, and with the mystery of the case, I almost feel like I'm banging my head against a brick...

I imagine they must certainly have some usable evidence considering the new developments in the case and the fact the police seem to be trying to gather the evidence together to take it to court.

It'd be weird wouldn't it, after all the searches they've done around her house. I think she must be in a closeish vicinity to her house

I wonder that too. I think that grassy garden area behind those houses on East Parade should be checked out if they haven't already been though, I told one of my friends who visited the party there about Cartwright's supposed involvement and his house being there and she was immediately like 'Oh...

So here's my aforementioned notes, most of them are probably rubbish but you never know, something might trigger a memory or mean something to someone. Personally I think whatever happened either happened in her house (why leave her debit cards etc) or very close to home. Claudia taking her...

Hello all, I'm new here but over the Christmas holidays I had a read through the whole of the last thread and this one and jotted down a few notes. I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes here and my notes may not be of any use/may not be relevant but if something can help that would be great...
