I'm not sure where there is a link saying she was found a mile from the rv. All local papers have said she was found in Essex in an area 23 to as far as 45 miles from her last known sighting. They do not give an exact location, but this is why SARS could not locate her.

Not necessarily, a haboob (maybe I'm thinking of the micro dust devils) can pop up and disappear within 3 minutes time and hits one area and if the other person is not looking they won't even see it.
