Well he could have just drove a short trip to higher ground which wouldn't take long....and it was truly coincidence Or from higher ground he could see her and it was timed. He did say from the upper road you can see the whole campground...so they could of had eyes on each other. I don't...

Fish=minnows. Minnows are baby fish. I agree no discrepancy there. not really important... The discrepancy is where IR was during the trip to see either fish (or minnows)Was he with them or already at the creek?

This is exactly what my teenage son does when trying to come clean about something. He talks a bunch of nonsense about everything but the main point. This is how I always catch him...he gets overly chatty about things that have nothing to do with the real issue he wants to bring up.

Not to mention, where they were help was not going to arrive quickly. I also find it odd that VDK didn't even attempt to call initially because he stated he had only 1 bar of service. I mean, I'd give it a shot ! *If they found Deorr (assuming accidental death) within 5-10 minutes of...

No problem. well minnows are fish...anyway it's a different version of their interview with Nate where they VDK and JM went on a walk and approached IR already "fishing" for whatever a the creek. One story IR was asked to take them to see the place the other story; IR was already at the...

ILOKAL here it is from Vilt. Their stories didn’t jive. One was the timeline, and there was some overemphasis of Jessica, uh…stating that she knew the boy was in the campground because she kept looking back – “I kept looking back…I kept looking...

That's my point exactly I don't think either story is the whole truth. This is the moment he allegedly went missing and the story isn't clear at all. Huge problem. IMO

I had an incident once where I was working on my car in the driveway, my wife was in house, nice summer day kids in and out. My 2 year old son was with me watching and then went in the house. 5 minutes later I went in the house and he was not with my wife. We yelled, we screamed, we ran around...

Yes- according to Nate interview there were minnows and that's why they went back to get Deorr. My point is not whether there were fish or not but this; I went for a walk when I got to the park Jim was there. OR Me and Jim went for a walk to the park.

OK I'll try to explain. According to Vilt interview they came back from the store and asked IR to show them where he caught the minnows. So they walk off with IR to see the minnow place. JM states to Vilt she "kept looking back." Then they decided they wanted to show the minnows to little...

I think this nap thing comes from the initial interview in VDK's ramblings.

yes except in this case IR was catching minnows, and they wanted to see the minnows to show Deorr, but did not take him along to see them. Then decided they wanted to show him and "poof!"

I've been in the Colorado and Idaho mountains A LOT and I've never seen a bear den. That is just silly. A bear den isn't something you just know where they are and search

Nothing weird or unusual about exploring, I totally agree. But in this case, little Deorr disappeared during the creek adventure....so that makes it a pretty key element of the story. IMO

Not that it really matters, but actual "fishing" in those little creeks is fun around Idaho and isn't uncommon. Little brook trout and rainbows are all over in them. Anyway, out of DK's mouth was "we wanted to show him the minnows."

I doubt it- possibly, but in that part of Idaho it's pretty remote and most of those areas are just drive in and camp. Wait one.... No fee. http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/scnf/recarea/?recid=76098

I understand and I dont think it matters if it was going fishing, looking at fish, catching fish or catching minnows, whatever. IMO The whole thing that revolves around this is where IR's location seems to change. There are variations of where he was. Originally- IR was off "fishing" and they...

Dang, serioulsy? how would he pull all that off without a clue in a MUCH smaller time frame and the parents not being all over him?

Not with a fishing pole but maybe a net or bucket. I do it with my kids just goofing around when camping. This whole IR was with them, he was off on his own, he was here or there, seems to me a key part of the "story changing" IMO
