Does anyone else find it curious that the bullying posts were associated with her work, however in the press releases they stressed how much she loved her job?
Yes, I agree with your assumptions. I definitely think considering she had an hour and a half drive back to her home that she would have left items in her car that would have indicated her intent.
I've thought about people speculating she may have went off the trail hiking...but from my...
Someone posted on the findnicole twitter page that the registry was not created by Steve and Nicole. So who created it then and why? Was this part of the supposed bullying?
This was in response to this question in a former Post:
I am a hiker/runner (female) who spends significant time training for extreme trail running events. By extreme I mean events where the distance is anywhere from 16 - 32 miles of treacherous rocky terrain with significant elevation gains...
Agreed. Also, it was indicated they have dogs. Even if they worked alternating shifts, wouldn't a couple with dogs need to arrange for coverage while they were working? People with dogs typical have to communicate schedules and plans to one another based around caring for them.
My thoughts as well. I honestly think they do that to put the perpetrator at ease while the investigation moves forward. My gut feeling is one of two things:
1) She intentionally run away / staged her disappearance
2) Someone else is involved.
I would put suicide and accident in the woods last.
Agreed...and while I completely understand the reason for the rules, I think the rules should take in consideration "public" and "private" posts on social media. But that's just my opinion.
Thanks. I don't want to cause anyone any grief. As an avid hiker myself, his story has bothered me since her dad shared the first notice (I saw it on the Appalachian Trail Hikers) FB page. Things don't quite add up. I hope she is found soon, safe and sound.
Strange...why can I see it. I guess because I am a registered FB user. Basically, Nicole's sister in law make a comment on another post that her brother (Nicole's husband) was the one who heard from her on Wednesday. I know there has been a lot of speculation that the Dad received the last contact.
