  1. Spindlebrook

    CA CA - Sacramento, Wht/HispMale UP2410, 18-25, in Southside Park, Jan'80

As “cartoonish” as the sketch was, it is amazingly accurate looking!
  2. Spindlebrook

Identified! TN - Nashville, WhtFem 30’s UP10155, Leo pendant, poss from Chilton Co, AL, Mar'98 Diane Minor

In retrospect, JMOO, the main reconstruction of the decedent was not really a good representation of what Diane looked like. Diane was 54 when she died and the reconstruction looks like someone in their 30’s. And to me it doesn’t resemble the PM photo either. After seeing photos of what Diane...

Identified! TN - Nashville, WhtFem 30’s UP10155, Leo pendant, poss from Chilton Co, AL, Mar'98 Diane Minor

More photos here: Who was Diane Minor, the Leo Jane Doe pulled from Nashville's Cumberland River in 1998
  4. Spindlebrook

Identified! AZ - Yavapai Co., WhtFem 157UFAZ, 25-40, pregnant, Aug'95 - Name not found

I don’t see a scenario why this woman isn’t Therese Balsano. There may be a delay in announcing her ID due to LE not yet knowing who the father of the fetus was if they’re doing a homicide investigation.
  5. Spindlebrook

IL IL - Bloomington, WhtFem 273UFIL, 25-40, hanged, crooked teeth, Feb'82

Bumping. Is there any chance @othram can pick up this case?
  6. Spindlebrook

Identified! NV - Las Vegas, 'Sahara Sue', WhtFem 17-25, UP159, dentures, jewelry, clothes, Aug'79 - Gwenn Marie Story

It stands to reason that they will considering that it’s an open homicide investigation. Releasing her name could lead to people that knew her and potential case-cracking information.
  7. Spindlebrook

AZ AZ - Dateland, WhtMale 16-23, UP12993, Partial skeletal remains, Oct'14

I have zero idea why they refer the location the UID was found as Dateland when the spot is nowhere near Dateland. Besides, Dateland is in Yuma County, not Maricopa. The spot is much closer to Tonopah.
  8. Spindlebrook

Identified! TX - Huntsville, 'Walker County Jane Doe', WhtFem 14-16, 91UFTX, Nov'80 #5 - Sherri Ann Jarvis

Since it’s “Sherri” on the headstone, doesn’t that once and for all settle how to spell her name?
  9. Spindlebrook

Identified! TX - Huntsville, 'Walker County Jane Doe', WhtFem 14-16, 91UFTX, Nov'80 #4 Sherry Ann Jarvis

Wasn’t Kathy wanting to visit the Sugar Land prison, not Ellis?
  10. Spindlebrook

Identified! TX - Huntsville, 'Walker County Jane Doe', WhtFem 14-16, 91UFTX, Nov'80 #4 Sherry Ann Jarvis

The main resemblance to me was the dimples. They are so noticeable and distinctive.
  11. Spindlebrook

MO MO - 'Johnny Lee Mills' aka 'Steven L Johnson' & 'Randi Smith', 13, Maryland Heights, 21 Sep 1990

-Johnny was last seen in Maryland, this Doe was found off of I-95 in Massachusetts, which isn't terribly far considering I-95 runs from Canada to Florida and does go through He was last seen in Maryland Heights, Missouri, not the state of Maryland.
  12. Spindlebrook

Identified! TX - Huntsville, 'Walker County Jane Doe', WhtFem 14-16, 91UFTX, Nov'80 #4 Sherry Ann Jarvis

Out of all the reconstructions and PM photos available, this woman to me mostly resembles the original front-facing sketch from 1980. Looking at the photo, the hair length/style/color looks right, along with the round face and weak chin. The nose seems a bit big but that could be from the...

Identified! AZ - Mohave Co., 'White Hills JD' BlkFem UP15869, 14-17, off Hwy 93, Sep'16 - Kimberly Rena Jones

Fantastic article on ESPN.com about the case: 'I found your mom': The mystery that led a college football coach on a 41-year search
  15. Spindlebrook

Identified! CA - Long Beach - WhtMale 15-19 - 1392UMCA - 'Paid' stamp on hand- Jun'78 - Kenneth Nevada Williams

If you read the circumstances regarding his disappearance it’s fairly certain that Heckle fell into the river and didn’t make it out. That makes a lot more sense than reappearing five years later in California and being this UID.
  16. Spindlebrook

TX TX - Huntsville, 'Walker County Jane Doe', WhtFem 14-16, 91UFTX, Nov'80 #3 *NAME NOT RELEASED*

I agree with the pen pal theory, and I’ll add that there is the possibility that whomever her pen pal was may not have known what she looked like and would not recognize her sketch/PM image if shown to him.

Found Deceased PA - White Haven, 'Beth Doe' & Unborn Baby 169UFPA, 16-22, Dec'76 *Evelyn Colon* *Arrest* #3

If someone drinks nothing but Fiji Water, would isotopes indicate that the individual came from Fiji? If someone drank nothing but Foster’s Beer, would isotopes say that individual came from Australia? That’s one of the many problems with isotope analysis; having readings based on the makeup...

Found Deceased PA - White Haven, 'Beth Doe' & Unborn Baby 169UFPA, 16-22, Dec'76 *Evelyn Colon* *Arrest* #3

With the advent of forensic genealogy, which can tell us who a specific person is with certainty, there is zero need for a “science” that tells us a geographic region that the person MIGHT come from. Don’t be a bit surprised if it turns out that the Lake Panasoffkee doe isn’t from Greece at...
