I just read the interview, and you are right. It was the landowner only saying it was pristine. As often as I heard folks saying that, I figured it must come from an official. So- never mind...

again, it's important to understand "pristine" it doesnt mean "clean" it means undisturbed, The same condition as it was at the time of the crime. No one had tracked through or disturbed the original crime scene.

this newer map isnt even close to locations indicated in other ones? it marks the bodies several bends in river beyond other map...the full color map places them in a direct line with the right border of the cemetery..which is right?

I think "pristine " means untouched since crime occurred... not clean, or pretty. just that evidence hasnt been contaminated.
