Thats my take on it too. He had 18months-ish to twist his story in to him being the actual victim.

Its a very modern shotgun, not the standard double barrel rabbit/fox shooting most of us country people are used too. I can't see why Russell would even take an unloaded, unsecured weapon from Lynn's vehicle unless he was being threatened with another weapon. Why not take the large calibre rifle...

Like BL going back for his hat...... But due to reveal he might get a judge only trial? (not sure if thats an option in Victoria)

Lynn destroyed Russell's drone, he was not a happy camper.I think its reasonable to believe there was a conflict. It may have been a lot more one sided than his version paints. It still astounds me that everything he did after their deaths was to preserve himself. No thought for their families...

Now it seems you're just taking the piss. As far as I know biological tissue of the head does not have an inbuilt aversion to Toyotas. Mr Lynns account may be entirely fictitious or he may have cleaned any remnant from the vehicle using bleach or other sterilisers, he may have donned his "I'm...

Well yes but at least two families were put through hell waiting. And if you have a conscience, if you can't live with the thought of endless suffering and a lack of closure for those people traumatised forever. If I accidentally hit and killed a dog in my car I'd be picking it up and finding...

Perhaps Hill's drone records Lynn shooting illegally. One early search party on horseback found many fresh deer carcasses nearby. Lynn might've demanded the footage, Russell said no. He could've threatened him with the shotgun and Hill refused. Whether a 'scuffle/struggle' occurred immediately...

As you do when you have two dead bodies and a pair of jetstar gloves in the middle of nowhere. He's a real helper alright.

This is interesting and I believe the accused would not of required fingerprinting (except due to his profession or possible handgun licenses). I have Cat D & E for control of feral animals on my rural mixed bush nature conservation property. I don't hunt anywhere else except if I have to...

Its preposterous isn't it. A seasoned hunter claims leaves will deter all sorts of animals and critters from scenting blood seeping cadavers. Its one of the crazier things said by the accused. It in no way matches his skills and understanding as a bushman, hunter, fisher. That and somehow...

Certainly seems she was suss. Might not of been certain but it does appear it could have been a 'just in case' photo. If the cops have visited, that car on tv is the only one not ruled out and he quickly paints it beige with a handroller, yup, alarm bells. Also, Lynn said he'd repainted his car...

You can have mine! They have not struggled at all. I guess it depends on the individual water table. The ones pictured near the dam would have no trouble drawing up nearby moisture.

In most parts of Australia including the south east Blackberry bushes don't need a lot of water to grow. Most are invasive weeds. They can draw water up from nearby too. Often found as a nuisance near streams, creeks, dams, water runoffs.

It could also be that somebody has handed in dashcam footage that has recently identified someone piffing something from a car, or a car parked roadside during that intitial 7AM-7PM timeslot, or later. Perhaps that vehicle fits targeted specs.

Here's a screenshot I took on March 22nd. Is this near today's search area? I'm confused because there seems to be a few Enfield named places, forest, reserve, state park. Also have to check the usage of the chopper as it doesn't appear to be vicpol. Link to flight data tracking page.

Or watch/phone data and a willing/unwilling accomplice during and or after the murder. LE went from '1 or more parties' to one arrest, definitive charge. Could a witness be in protective custody?
