His son and daughter are both police officers. His daughter in law was a nurse. My feeling is they knew what they were dealing with. He had seen psychiatrists and had been prescribed meds. It's heartbreaking.

Perhaps she planned on telling the owner the next day. Many small businesses in small towns like to take care of thiefs internally. Honestly I don't see where your coming from. Your assumptions dont hold water. She's not responsible for Jessica's abduction, Jeffery Willis is.

That's harsh. She'll live with this every day of her life. I believe she thought merchandise was being stolen through the back door. It's unreasonable to think someone was being abducted.

I think it made up for the DNA testimony which I found difficult to follow. I think the testimony of video collection was devastating (and sickening). He's a monster, the worst of the worse. My heart aches for Jessica and what she went through.

The boy who she visited that night and his friends left in the middle of the night. That had always been their plan. The girls who she traveled with planed to leave the next morning.

Details previously*reported by*The Sacramento Bee*said DeAngelo is divorced, that he lived with a daughter and granddaughter, that he went by Joe, and that he said he recently retired...
Sorry if you misunderstood. I was simply replying to why a person would not divorce. I didn't mean to imply he or his wife were Catholic.

I missed the price. I was doing two things at once and had only scanned the article. Now I wonder if he kept it. It wouldn't be easy to sell imo.
He married in the fall of 1973. Looks like the China was stolen in October 1978. Five year anniversary gift? It's a stretch but possible.

Makes me wonder if he was setting up housekeeping after his wife left him? Or could he have taken home and said to his wife "I bought you a set of China today". This guy keeps getting weirder by the day.

I agree with the stalking afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised if he even spoke with some of them. I can imagine him following them to the gas station and striking up a brief conversation.
As always jmo.

Have any dishes been reported missing? I don't think he would have grabbed the dishes. They would have been too cumbersome to run, climb a fence or bicycle with.
Maybe the licenses. That's taking a big chance being caught with them. We'll find out and I may be wrong.

I was thinking about this too. Everything we know about serial killers tells us that they like to collect trophies. I have a feeling he didn't. He took them to further punish his victims. I think he may have disposed of the stolen items soon after taking them.
As always jmo.

At this time it's not legal in the state of Indiana. Only 12 states allow using familiar DNA. I imagine many states will be watching this case. Hopefully it goes well and convinces them to follow.

They traced him back from his great, great, great grandparents. That's amazing. I know from working on my family tree just how much work that involves.

I suffer from vertigo from time to time. It has nothing to do with heights. In my case it's caused by a
herniated disc.
